Your daughters if you have any and your wife. But you can do too much. You have to draw a line. im in kind of a lucky spot (KIND of). My grandma has a small chunk of wealth that she's been cultivating and hoarding since my great-grandmother was alive, and she's gotten fucked over by her brothers and sisters (my great-aunt & great-uncles); not to mention my uncles (grandma's sons) ended up ignoring and abandoning my grandparents over the past couple of decades. My grandma is butthurt enough and appreciative enough to leave my mom pretty much everything once my grandmother kicks the bucket.
I don't go about and help her (and my mom) solely for the financial reward, but ingratiating myself with them right now in my early-mid-20's really is a very small investment that has a great reward, regardless if it doesn't become apparent until 5-10 years from now.

My grandfather was a navy cartographer who later worked for Westinghouse. He put away a shit ton of money and other assets. Grandpa died, grandma was always kind of a dingbat. Grandma almost died of sepsis, aunt decided against what she had in her will which was to pull the plug. She lived and promptly lost her fucking mind. Strangers to us wormed their way into her life, convinced her my mother and aunt, who were named responsible for the trust, were stealing from her. Grandma got a lawyer, lawyer saw a meal ticket, dragged this shit out, we had to get a lawyer too, eventually mom and aunt gave up the trust, now some more distant family members took over presumably for the 10k a year salary the trust stipulates for managing it. They're fucking lawyers themselves but they're so damn incompetent they're asking my mom and aunt what the fuck to do meanwhile shit talking us to my grandma.
It's a fucked situation, almost a million dollarydoos pissed away because a stupid old woman who never managed her own finances and who never even had a driver's license pitched a fit.
My aunt should have let her die all those years ago, my aunt agrees.
