another great thing is many of the older ladies don't want you to care for them so you get assigned to male patients who also don't want you to do care unless they have lost all ability to do it. End result is that you barely have to bed bath or clean shit and piss unless the patient has very little functional ability. If you work on a floor like orthopedics most of the people are very functional.

My mother has been a nurse for 25+ years, makes 6 figures, and works 3 days a week, and always gets weekends off. She doesnt even have to do any of the pee pee poo poo nasty shit because the LPNs and PCTs handle all that. She just does vitals and medications and ivs and easy shit.
Granted - those 3 days are 13 hour days, but i for one would much rather do that than work five 8 hour days.

Absolutely wrong. I do mortgages for doctors so I am privy to their finances. Specialists can gross as high as 300k. 40% taken by taxes leaves us at 180k per year. Malpractice insurance at 4k per month now we're down to 132k per year. Student loans (300k balance on avg) payment at 4k per month now were down to 84k per year. And you don't start earning this $ until you're mid 30s at the soonest. Truly a fools errand. Be Smart start a business instead.
