please tell me. what sorcery is this ?

just look at them. instant attraction. why ?

>tfw this is better than the bear suit

...

have I discovered the fetish to end all fetishes ?

Why do people make fun of girls who dress like this?
It's cute as fuck.

>Why do people make fun of girls who dress like this?
Wait, they do? Shit taste I assume?

Because they're cute.

>Tsukihime remake never

Recently noticed this too and I find myself liking it the more I see it. Not to mention it works both as a comfy look and for sukeban delinquent types.

>got rid of arc's long skirt

>all of her, from head to toes
>that headband
>that long hair
>that serious look
>that silk shirt
>that plaid skirt
>those boots
My Lord, am I going to have to go into Type-Moon shit now?

wait a minute
that face...

give her a messy side pony tail and some sandals, and she's my definition of perfect.

It's stereotypical nerd fashion (of course, unless you make it somehow obvious that every article costed 3 digits in dollars).

Why do fujos wear long skirts?

I can see it.

It's the same reason why sweaters are god sent.
The mystery matters.

>It's stereotypical nerd fashion
Wait, so, could this be related to the fact that I have a degree in maths? Are long skirts.
>The mystery matters.
This was my first thought too, since I also have a legs fetish.
>imagine lifting the skirt up, from the ankles to her hips, all the while rubbing your hands on her legs
I need to calm down.

Maximum coverage (good for asslets).

>Are long skirts
the* fashion* item* of* choice* for* the* high* IQ* ?

The true charm of the long skirt.

Fuck yes, user. You are entirely correct.

...

Smelly

>imagine lifting the skirt up, from the ankles to her hips, all the while rubbing your hands on her legs

I like Taishou and delinquent flavors.

>imagine hiding under her skirt, shoving your head between her legs, caressing the inner ties with your cheeks
It's getting pretty hot in here.

They're really underrated, and are often narrowly viewed as prudish by fools with no grasp of subtext or nuance. Then there's also the association with the school uniform and the yankee, which can sometimes lend them an air of the ordinary, but there's a lot more to them. They can be elegant and graceful or capricious and playful.

There's the comfy feeling from the long fabric, like being wrapped up in layers of blankets on a cold winter's day. There's the bit of mystery about what might be concealed beneath them. Depending upon the type of cloth rendered, it might evoke a wispy, ethereal feeling and a lightness that the more concrete forms of pants or even exposed legs can't match.

I hope those are all links to works with Akiha. You're not tricking me, right user?

First four are; don't bother with the rest unless you want to continue into Typemoon. If you want more Akiha, however, there's also Melty Blood.

Akiha is only in Tsukihime/Melty Blood stuff.

very well put.

>Then there's also the association with the school uniform
I fucking wish anime school uniforms had long skirts. The last show I can think of where the standard was below the knee is Marimite.

Aren't long skirts a delinquent thing in Japan? At least in context of school uniforms.

Who /modestcore/ here?

...

...

Not only with school uniforms. I think it's called Osaka-style, or it's connected with Osaka in some way. I don't really get the reason for the association with that of all things, though. It's a pretty idiosyncratic link.

If this style/trend means girls will opt for long skirts, I'm in.

Really, what is it with yankee girls and long skirts.

Easier to squat in.

You can hide weapons and stolen goodies there

It's also just against school regulations.

This makes too much sense. So much sense I feel dumb for not realising it myself.

And practically non-existent short skirts are allowed?

Or is it just an anime meme

Short skirts are still the designated skirt with the waist rolled, long skirts are a whole another article.

...

>Easier to squat in.
How? I should think it's the opposite.

So in america, girls all wear tights now, everywhere. So I ask them all the time. Why not wear a skirt over them? Aren't skirts stylish?

People wear tights under jeans?

You have to conceal vision of pantsu and longer skirts make it easier

And, what do they say? (Skirts are still relatively popular in my corner of the world.)

Are delinquent girls secretly prudish?

...

It's less of a delinquent thing and more of a Japanese girl thing.

Most normal Japanese highschoolers are pure, delinquent or not.

The male slut-prude binary.

Basically everything is better than jeans.

>Most normal Japanese highschoolers are pure
I believe you user. They also have wings and halos.

>t. roastie
It never seizes to amaze me how self-unaware women are.

You can't defend that.

>tfw ZR will never become popular over here
>instead it's everyone wearing Jeans 24/7
Such a shame.

Defend what.

The mindset.

Stupid cunt thinks every joke is to be taken 100% seriously.
>of course I take Sup Forums at face value

What mindset.

My brothers of good taste

Let's go back to discussing the wonders of long skirts please.

What about short skirts? I think both are pretty great.

Hoo boy, the combination of a long skirt and that jacket is amazing.

I'm not seriously arguing, and are madder than me. Sluts and prudes is out of Breakfast Club and binary something is an ironic sjw pet terminology.

There is a subtle elegance to long skirts. There's also the illusory effect of making the legs look longer by hiding proportions; if you've ever looked at skirts, you know they're often quite high waisted. By hiding the knees (and thus an obvious point of reference) you can make it look like the legs are longer than they actually are.

I like this style a lot.

Some hakama are trousers, though.

No one cares.

>What about short skirts?
Meh. Too commonplace. They've become boring.

As do I. Post more.

What the fuck did I just read?

Nerds

>Sluts and prudes is out of Breakfast Club
Hold on, did you seriously assume a general "male mindset" based on a stupid 1980s chick flick?
>binary something is an ironic sjw pet terminology
What level of irony are we talking here?

Nice, I love this style of dress. What's it called... mermaid-something?

Are dresses fine in this thread?

>plaid
That’s a pleated black skirt

Thank you for the correction.

t.ESL

Ironic as in I'm using it ironically, since "gender binary" is a buzzword. Sorry if it doesn't come across and was worth namecalling.
>Hold on, did you seriously assume a general "male mindset" based on a stupid 1980s chick flick?
It's there in the "not displaying your pussy is prudish" post whether or not it's based on real life, or whether or not he was serious.

I don't think anyone would mind user. Although I myself prefer skirts because they can be combined with more types of casual clothing than dresses.

For me it's the mystery meat :3

>he's not even wearing a skirt
You had one job.

>he
It's "she" if his heart say so.

It does look like a skirt though. Even if it's not a real skirt, it still exudes elegence and is just really fucking gorgeous.

Post more hakama.

He can be whatever he wants as long as he's wearing a skirt that hangs bellow the knees, shitposter-kun.

What they're trying to say is they were shitposting and you're too stupid to realize.

Which is exactly why high waist jeans look so fucking stupid in comparison

>Too commonplace.
Do you live in heaven?

>Do you live in heaven?
I wish I was.

...

user means too common in 2D. 3D is never going to have good taste.

How's this?

I meant both actually.
