My eyes

Robot please go and stay go.

A fucking tv

>not superimposing anime onto your eyes every waking minute

Some cheap ass android box that I run Kodi and a plex server on

Now that's a TV!!
Did you use an HDMI cable?
I cant find a decent one.

yeah it's hooked up to my ps4 and computer, I honestly don't have the eyes to tell if the quality is affected at all. It gets the job done

65 inch OLED TV

A computer.

usually a screen

KODI installed on a raspi

Laptop with headphones because anime sounds like porn a lot of the time
but honestly it would probably be easier to explain if it was porn considering all the nonsensical shit anime I watch

MPV with meme shaders

maybe i should try the hdmi of my ps3

what a shitty fucking tv stand
that tv is just waiting for your dumbass to knock it over one day when your drunk

Phone because I’m a plebeian

does it transport the audio too?

iPhone 4

...

Me on the top left.

>France vs Portugal Euro Final

Oh user

>you will never watch cute girls doing cute things under the tour Eiffel with 10,000 of your closest 2 amis, fapping in unison to lewd scenes and unleashing a flood of cum upon the Parisian streets

One of these.

TV. Sometimes PC, but I prefer the TV.

do you use hdmi or usb?
my tv had probs with codec h265

Hdmi and a Mi Box (Android TV). H265 works flawlessly, but 10-bit H264 stutters. I usually watch HorribleSubs and fansubbing is dying anyway so it doesn't matter.

I watch it in bed using my phone. All the anime is streamed for my file server via samba file sharing.

My phone.

The ultimate in animation deserves the ultimate in resolution.

>that whiskey

I wondered if I could just copy files from my PC onto USB key, then plug the USB into the TV and play directly... but my smart tv has problems with codec

On my MP5 player obviously, how can you play MP5 anime otherwise?
I just can't find a way to turn off the yellow subtitles, otherwise it would be perfect.

Not him but the best way is your pc and use a tv as display.

I watch anime in MPC-HC on 50" TV connected to desktop PC and use USB gaming headphones for audio, just for the LTE channel that normal headphones don't have.

user, connect an HDMI cable to your PC if your GPU supports it, they're cheap nowadays.
TVs don't support 10-bit or HEVC.

>I just can't find a way to turn off the yellow subtitles
[DameDame] made those mp5 yellow subtitles great, they are a feature.

Some TVs do support HEVC, it's supposed to become a new standard.

>and use USB gaming headphones for audio
Faggot.

indeed
tv has shitty software... it's only useful with hdmi as a display

VR headset on my phone streaming from kissanime. Very comfy.

>bedside drawer
>alcohol next to it
I'm willing to believe that you're using VGA cables for this setup. You're better off putting this shit on the floor. Pic related

Toshiba Satellite laptop plugged into 27" IPS.

27" 1440p monitor with HD 598s. And madVR, of course.

Again depends on the TV. The newer Sony and Sharp TVs come with Android TV which is pretty much the best TV OS.

Stereo headphones support LTE now? I don't want to make the neighborhood hate me using speakers.
There's nothing wrong with gaming headphones anyway.

>TVs don't support 10-bit or HEVC.
you have right
My portable has an hdmi door, so i hope it will work
> use USB gaming headphones for audio
That would be nice with moe-unf hentai

How can you play an HEVC video on a tv that doesnt support it, with an HMDI?

True, though I assumed user's TV isn't a new model, since people tend to not change TVs very often unless it breaks.

>alcohol
>not recognizing scotch and glorious nipponese whisky
No user, you're the pleb.

What is this LTE you talk about, google couldn't help me.
>there's nothing wrong with gaming X
Are you over 18?

If the tv doesn't support it, you'll need a Mi box or some other android TV box. They support HEVC 10-bit hardware decode.

Is it better than a PC though?

love this meme

Even if it did support it, it would be 8-bit one, anime now is all 10-bit and even 12-bits, I'm not that user but I use MPC-BE and it plays any kind of color depth flawlessly as long as my CPU doesn't catch fire, basically you use the TV just like a monitor, your monitor doesn't decode video right? your player and GPU do, using a TV instead of monitor is the same.

>Toshiba Satellite laptop
that shit is very cheap...not even an iphonex

A laptop with an external 24 inch monitor. Sometimes I watch anime with my tablet on the sofa or outside when it's summer.

It's 6 years old, Toshiba don't even make them anymore.

I uploaded the hdmi to my tv...there are a lot of black pixels floating on the screen...is it normal?

>telling people to kill themselves is a meme
>implying wasn't serious

Depends. It's definitely more convenient to use than a PC or notebook connected to the TV that will need some janky input with keyboard and mouse, but of course a PC will be more capable to decode strange video codecs fansubbers use because of Daiz.

Maybe the cable is bad?

>basically you use the TV just like a monitor, your monitor doesn't decode video right? your player and GPU do, using a TV instead of monitor is the same.
So even if my tv is shit i can still use it as a decent 1080p monitor? nice

>LTE
It's a typo my bad, I meant LFE channel, plus it has all features of normal analog stereo headphones, don't need any more than this to enjoy music and anime.

LFE is a 3rd channel for bass only:

>convenient
Who the fuck cares? Either way do it properly or don't do anything

>...

Stop this shit and lurk more.

Nice Hibiki user

Yes, mine is a 2010 TV but has 1080p plus HDMI and DVI ports and it's 50" so I'm not replacing it till it cracks open/stops working, after all it cost me an eye back then.

is it the cable or the TV?

I care. And what do you even mean with do it properly? They do what they're supposed to. Perfectly decode AVC and HEVC vídeo up to 4k through hardware.

Don't know. Sorry. The cable was just a guess because there can be white dots if it's bad. So maybe black dots are possible, too.

PC must do the encode part... tv is just for fun

My PC. I've got a good monitor and a comfy chair.

Encode part? Do you mean decode?
Smart tvs have their own CPUs to do decoding.

>So even if my tv is shit
How can a TV be shit? As long as it has a 1080p output its still a rather good display.

That is just wrong, you said before yours used a USB meaning they use their own DAC for doing the decoding which defeats the purpose of having separated channels, plus using some random gaymen headphone's DAC is obviously the worst you can do when there are decent DACs that probably costed half what you paid for your headphones.

laphroaig is the most pleb of all islay malts, even moreso than ardbeg.

To each his own I guess, I'd rather have done all the necessary connections and use the PC instead.

>people honestly don't know how to connect a $5 HDMI cable to a TV

i'll try another one! thanks
yea, there are weird dots moving around

I know you're joking but kill yourself anyway.

You ok user? take a deep breath before posting and ask yourself if your typing will be seen ok in Sup Forums.

not mine...at least not hevc

yeah, that's me...since it appears to have weird dots

Tough luck, brainlet.

>brainlet
Quality post.

Just do your usual troubleshooting and stop the...

>yours used a USB meaning they use their own DAC for doing the decoding which defeats the purpose of having separated channels
What's stopping the bass informations from passing through USB?
The headphones have 7.1 channels but when I watch anime that has only stereo, the audio gets distributed equally on each channel (right channel to right phone, left to left obviously), the LFE is separate, it may not be as good as a subwoofer but it's better than analog stereo who don't support LFE at all, or do they? how does LFE even work on analog stereo headphones?

If the source is stereo it won't have that bass channel you're talking of.

What, do you not have your standard mk1 eyeballs?

The signal gets amplified through driver, then the headphones output it from their back and around in the special mini speaker, without overlapping with the stereo audio distributed on the other channels.

well, i guess i have to replace the cable
audio works pretty good even if i turn off the audio on pc

Computer/Laptop for most, and occasionally my PS3 for any DVD's and Blu-Ray's I have.

That's a load of fucking bullshit placebo crap. Gaymen headsets all have complete shit sound quality.

ps3 plays blu ray? nice to know

the ps3 has a decend hdmi cable?

Low frequency? I don't know how to measure the effective quality, but it sounds better than the in-ear headphones that I had before these at least.
I can hear all frequencies up to 14k with these but my ears aren't that great anymore so there's that.

I just plug in my laptop on the living room television, shit's really comfy since i have a wireless logitec keyboard+touchpad
I also play VNs that way

No, you're doing okay, you bought one and plugged it in. Some people itt don't seem to even understand the concept.

>What's stopping the bass informations from passing through USB?
The idea of having separated channels is to have separated cables in real life (this is analog info), just like you have one cable for each speaker on a stereo setup. what travels trough the usb is encoded digital data, which by definition is "mixed".

A dynamic driver can properly reproduce low frequency sounds, what is difficult to represent are high frequencies and that's why audiofools use several BA drivers to separate certain freqs and tune each individually. Sorry but separating a bass channel in this case sounds like placebo at this point since that special speaker you speak of might as well be the same as the main one used for reproducing the other sounds. Finally there are a bunch of chink headphones that I'm certain sounds better than yours and don't have that feature.

Using pc while i'm laying on my living room sofa...is this a dream?

how can i solve my problem, gentleman?

Also if you are just a niggerbass lover get yourself some rock zircons and feel the black cock in your ears, though they wont last you half a year.

Crunchyroll on my Xbox, laptop if crunchy doesn't have something.
