ITT

Good manga that got disappointingly axed

It got axed ?

Yeah, it got wrapped up with a open ended cliffhanger in a handful of super short chapters and didn't resolve anything at all.

I stopped after the fight against the blonde guy and then the glasses guy revealed an alien army was on it way to earth

Shuudan! soon unless a miracle happens.
Based Captain fatass.

ITT poorly thought out stories that were axed as soon as the editors realized the shamble they had on their hands

tl;dr the rogue dollies and the humans go to beat the glasses guy who's an alien himself and wants to use humanity as a science experiment to free himself of the other aliens. then the aliens show up and it ends with everyone teaming up and getting ready to fight them.

>dolly porn exists
there is no god

If I had a Hajime no Ippo volume for each interesting horror manga that got axed, I'd have maybe 3 Hajime no Ippo volumes.

Looks awful desu

Amalgam of Distortion
It wasn't that good, but it's basically Tokyo Ghoul, with extra hype.

I remember reading everything in a single day.
It's one of those mangas so crazy that you can't help but get sucked in, kind of like Kamisama no Iutoori.

It's one of those over the top edgy and gorey messed up ones with horrendous plots, but are somehow entertaining.

Something about giant plush animals turning people into meat noodles I guess.

>one of those "horror suddenly turned into shonen battle" manga
It deserves to be cancelled

Area D

that's sounds like ALL shonen battle manga.

...

Wow, something just click in my brain. Thanks for reminding of it.

dunno if it was axed but the epilogue is pure unaltered shit

I only found recently that there's a prequel.

>Good

Fuck you Japan and your shit taste

I don't really care for it, it didn't flash out Ichi's character or anything and by the end of ItK it's revealed that it's noncanonical story anyway so who cares

I just wanted a series about a cute girl and a shota solving supernatural crimes together.

Why is this artist so obsessed with traps and tomgirls when he can make quality stuff like this.

...

dunno Ichi was my only exposure to this author's work, but I heard Homunculus is great too so I'll check it out someday

You're welcome user.

...

Oh I was talking about Gujira. He's the artist for that reaction pic you used. He's kind of the reason that Succubus (male) became a meme.

Somehow this doesn't suprise me. It had cool moments but it did feel rather meh all around.

Maybe not axed but rushed to death, best shonen out there

...

>no MX0 yet
I am disappoint. Also, was Mizukami's newest manga really axed within its first volume? I thought that the story was really going places quickly. It's so weird that it almost feels like he just planned an extended one-shot more than a series' cancellation.

Part of the problem was the battles didn't feel like they ever had stakes, and the MC wasn't played for enough comedy despite all the potential. But it had really cute girls and I think it was trying to go somewhere before it ended with Rintaro dying of HNNNNNNGH

...

...

It was the same shit over and over and over again.

...

>Good manga
pic unrealted?

Why do so much horror manga get axed a lot?

Horror doesn't translate into comics all that well.

>Mechanical Love
This masterpiece

...

damn I was enjoying this. fucking glacial pace though.

Was this axed? I remember it had a pretty satisfying ending.

even with the ending being kind of rushed it was still great imo, a shame we'll never get an anime

/thread

Also pic related.

Still hurts.

I swear this was popular while it was still being made. I kept seeing it brought up in places. I wonder why it got axed.

Technically it was the author's fault but fuck it still hurts.

Is that the one with the worlds strongest middle schooler?

Not popular with the Nips unfortunately and that's all that matters.

this is the one with the rape gangbang.

>Nozomi vs. Mio match never
>Kazane winning vs. Mio never

It hurts ;_;

Yes

it was absolute garbage

This

the ending was a bit rushed

I really thought Aka was going to an hero after that last afterword.

I liked when it was about a protagonist on the verge of insanity fighting against crazy things, when he became the generic MC "must protect his friends with the power of friendship" lost all the fun, I already saw this story

But that was awful all around.

C O M F Y

Keijo

Double Arts, Naoshi Komi.
I don't even know why Japan preferred Nisekoi with such cliche plot instead of this one with such potential .

>Also, was Mizukami's newest manga really axed within its first volume?
Any source for that except for some random guy commenting on Batoto? And why the hell are scanlations dead?

I dropped it at around this part too.
Did he ever fight again against that one dolly that went rogue?

I think Dragon Eye got axed years ago right in the middle of a tournament arc. Shame because it was one of the better Naruto derivatives out there at the time.

It's like nothing of his could stick around after he finished Needless. The first volume is out and literally nothing else after that.

Typesetter stuck in university. Can't do shit

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

i hope Shudan doesn't get cancelled too

MOTHERFUCKIN TEPPU

I maintain the opinion that anyone that actually followed it on a weekly basis couldn't have been completely happy with it. It started going totally downhill around the summer vacation arc and afterwards. A lot of the problems you can ignore if you just read it all at once.

>when the art and the plot are just right and nips are in charge of not having shit taste

fuck

He quit because he could handle the schedule.

And because he wanted draw boats.

for that level of power creep it wouldve taken like another 800 chapters to make it not feel rushed

Psyren

he turned out to be a boat fucker? shame

Yeah toriko was fucking amazing.

...

does this really count as being axed

Nothing but pain.

it's ridiculously over the top edgy that more than 30 chapters is a continues rape fest

the axe still reeks of the recently spilled blood

...

*continuous

Because of the art style.

>it's the rape that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend
was the author/editor ever interviewed about this? I as always curious wtf was they thinking

Criminale had a lot of potential, I was so disappointed to see it end right when it finished introducing the full cast.

>sets up a love triangle that doesn't even get focused on before the manga ends

Also there was another manga I can't remember the name of with a really cynical protagonist surrounded by weird/supernatural women that did nothing but piss him off, that one also had a lot of potential before it got axed.

That was fucking weird. I thought it was just another character arc, and I was wondering who would be next. Then it ends.

>tfw it was educational and i learned about honey badgers

Jesus Christ this
It has the saddest afterword I've read from an author.

forever mad

...

It just wasn't the same after it came back for a rushed finish.

>good manga
>bleach
Maybe if it had been cancelled during the Soul Society arc.

Eh? But wasn't it finished? I distinctly remember reading an ending.

Psyren

Should have ended at Soul Society with IchiRuki.

fucking this
