Molly is the main antagonist of the game. 200 years in the past, a cursed witch appeared at Luna Nova. She couldn't control her powers and turned into a monster. The teachers of that era combined their powers and sealed her in the Horologium Chamber. The Horologium Chamber originally had a very innocent purpose: it was just meant to help students get more time to study for hard tests, hence the comfy common room. However, the Horologium Chamber itself was sealed with Molly.

These moments are what Little Witch Academia needed more of.
More darker themes, more dungeon crawler settings, and more serious monster designs. Of course all of it combined with the little witch charm and Akko's antics would have made this series absolutely perfect.
