I'm going to imagine the Portugal-Spain border follows some natural obstacle that also demarcates the range of vultures. Mountains, probably.

sorry to say that this is a dumbass tell. I don’t wanna be cruel, but if that’s your immediate guess, you’re probably going through life with a lot of intuitions that are laughably dislocated from reality
>Portugal's strict laws on preventing the spread of mad cow disease require farmers to clear animal carcasses from their fields immediately, and hand them over for incineration or burial

>Scientists say vultures are avoiding Portugal in the hunt for food, and it's largely to do with mad cow disease.
>Eneko Arrondo of the research team at Spain's Donana Biological Station says Portugal's strict laws on preventing the spread of mad cow disease require farmers to clear animal carcasses from their fields immediately, and hand them over for incineration or burial. This means scavengers don't have the chance to feed on them.
>Spain took advantage of a change in European Union regulations in 2011 to allow regional councils to decide whether to leave carcasses out in the open - especially as the country is home to 90% of Europe's carrion birds.
>Since then, the scientists have noted an "abrupt decline" in griffon and black vulture visits across the border into Portugal. Their study establishes that is most likely related to the availability of carcasses, rather than climate or geography.

>gave and educated guess based on factors that do effect animal territory
>laughably disconnected from reality
No, actually it's quite reasonable to assume something like that. You however are unreasonable and probably a pain to be around.
Angel Morgan
Because who would want to go to Portugal having Spain right next to it

Mmm, a 1 out of 10 is still better than a 0.

Lately I was 8 days near Madrid visiting a friend.
I made some crazy trips through the countryside from Madrid to Segovia and saw some crazy eagles. I also saw the Valley of the fallen, pretty epic history man.
But I guess in the madrid region there are not that many vultures?
Blake Sullivan
What are you doing? No one cares about a leafs opinion
