>What is Orchestr/a/? A project started 3 years ago by a bunch of weebs dicking around with recorders who have since produced three full albums of shitty instrumental Chinese cartoon covers.
>Can I join? Yes. If you play flute, trumpet, or any string instrument, we need you the most right now.
I've been playing trumpet and cornet for 10+ years, but nah.
Jonathan Robinson

Where are the Finnish Independence Day songs?
Hunter Watson
What'd you get me for christmas this year Orchestr/a/?
Cooper Allen
Heyyy this might bring some meaning back to my life and help me with my crippling depression. I'll practice the spicy wolf cello part tomorrow
Carson Cruz
Wow, this is still alive? Fuck toaster, S4S, Maestro, Randy and especially fuck Moral. All of you are faggots, especially toaster and moral who contributed to the downfall of something that could've been good.
Lincoln Martin
Liking what I'm hearing, OP.
Might I suggest Kemonozume's OP as a future project?
The oboe that joins 42 seconds in sounds really good. I always wanted to play one but got too good at the saxophone to give it up, and now I haven't played in 5 years.
Levi White
>Body in too poor a condition to play any of the instruments I know
Next year, user. I promise I'll learn to play the violin. You just convinced me to watch Sakamichi no Apollon.
Brandon James
The 30+ doctors I saw over the past 15 years failed to diagnose pernicious anemia and my nerves are irreparably damaged. I only survived by eating massive amounts of red meat despite all those doctors telling me I was eating too much meat. I wouldn't even be able to hold a guitar anymore, let alone play one for extended periods of time.
To put things into perspective, the kind of damage done is the same kind as what you get with multiple sclerosis, though in the case of MS it's the nerves that are attacked by the immune system directly, rather than the digestive system that is attacked and the nerves just don't get the nutrients they need and slowly degrade. Right now being able to do basic chores would be a step up.

youtube.com/watch?v=Ok-oDjCLzEg konosuba video game had some good tracks. I like this one. Reminds me a lot of the anime endings
Elijah Wilson
Do y'all need a slap bass?
William Price
hell yeah
Charles Cooper
Surprising you still need that many violin parts. Every time I see this I'm kind of tempted to play, but give up because I'm currently rusty as hell, and I'd have to break in new strings.
Benjamin Thompson
Violin is one of the stable anime instruments, it's in everything. Also doesn't help that we didn't have a regular player for a year.
I've got an alto sax, I could help if there's a spot!
Elijah Harris
sure
Anthony Myers
Why even post?
Chase Martin
Omedetou~!
Gabriel Garcia
I can guitar and ukulele, those are stringos, if you need it, I can help
Colton Lewis
Is it difficult to diagnose or something? How the hell did it go unnoticed for 15 years?
Cooper Peterson
Are you going to play/record something for Christmas and New Year?
Adam Diaz
We release our albums in June so it doesn't really make sense to do Christmas songs (especially since there's a slim chance they would get done in time for Christmas)
>average days to complete: 280.4 Holy shit that's a lot, you would have to start working at it on the start of the year.
John Wright
And keep in mind that's only the /average/. Some songs have taken over 2 years to finish. Some songs have been sitting in our WIP since before our first album.
Brody Thompson
You guys should do a Plymouth Sinfonia-style cover for once
Aaron Williams
>Plymouth Sinfonia I mean, Portsmouth Sinfonia
Brandon Ortiz
>albums You guys have actual albums and stuff I can download/buy?
Hunter Torres
Well done orchestr/a/, this actually sounded pretty good. Clearly you don't need another percussionist or drummer, although I thought that they could have added a little more life to it. Either way, keep it up.
Benjamin Jones
All 3 of our albums are on the youtube channel. You can find download links in there as well

Ive been playing accordion for a long-ass time. Dont know if it fits with any anime music tho. Im all for contributing if you find a role for me.
Cooper Ross
That comfyness though.
Samuel Adams
Accordion parts have been pretty sparse lately due to lack of people to play them, but there are a couple currently available. Check the pad in the OP for sheets. You can use the sidebar to search by instrument.
Jack Jenkins
only found "komm sysser Tod" from evangelion. will check it out tomorrow and maybe record something if i find a good mic.
Nathan Jenkins
There's also Tokimeki Poporon (GochiUsa ED) and Chant (Alice to Zouroku ED) if you're interested
Blake Davis
oh right i found them now neat
Carter Edwards
One blood test. It was missed because the doctors were fucking incompetent. If you're ever in Montreal and you are sick or injured, unless it's the kind of thing where you're brought to the ER in an ambulance, you're better off driving to Ontario or the US.
There are a few elec guitar parts avalible, check the pad for them and see if you're interested
Bentley Lewis
where were you when we did theater of a witch

Joshua Williams
you should do something from sora no woto again.
Mason Cruz
When is it too late to learn?
Connor Richardson
This is currently in the works though it's uncertain when the arrangement will ever be finished ;_; youtube.com/watch?v=f0YKo8tx4x0
Isaac Cook
Never. You can meme your way into any instrument if you believe.
Eli Cook
After you're dead
Liam Diaz
Literally never. I've seen 50+ y/o people join the local orchestra without any prior musical experience and everyone's just excited to have a new member.
