Never been a russophile but I recently found myself drawn to this commie blocks aesthetics, I find them soothing and comfy and since /hr/ is a pleb and deplorable celebrity ridden useless shithole I invite you brothers to discuss the beautiful and sordid aesthetics of this housing projects
Also, do you know of any youtube channel that makes russian related content, I don't wanna watch the russian version of pewdiepie or that filthy h3h3 jew, I want real russian shit vlogging on streets forests, museums, etc.
They look like shit and it's cold as fuck to live in them unless you live at the top/bottom depending on which way the heating system is set up, since by the time it reaches the final floors the water is like warm at best.
I used to watch this dude's channel, is pretty comfy but he hasn't been posting interesting shit lately just some sponsored videos of a pyramid scheme scam company
Imagine selling your forbes 500 company and getting rich enough to live comfortably for the next 10000 years. You finally go to some siberian shithole nobody knows about and find yourself buying one of these apartments, and I mean one of the "really good ones" with a small balcony, two bedrooms and a private bathroom (not havimg to share the communal one with the rest of your neighbours). You pimp up said apartment with the ultimate comfy shit, nice large telly, ultimate android phone available in the market, a nice and comfy battlestation, your favorite books and shit and a bullet proof door to keep cyka blyats out of your business. There you met svetlana a 10/10 siberian ice queen who happens to also be amslob like yourself and wants to spend most of her week indoors just fucking and watching movies.
Yeah, then imagine how it takes two hours to get anywhere and back via public transportation, there's very few places you can go out to eat or for entertainment, and how most anything considered decent is probably in the city center, which is much more expensive to live in than your podunk commie block.
When it was first built it was supposedly luxury apartments for rich people....there were stores at the bottom and plans for an "indoor ski slope" to be constructed.... before the ghouls came of course.
>From the Wikipedia: "The core filled with debris five stories high as the owners left the building to decay. There were even proposals in the mid-1990s to turn the building into a highrise prison"
I love this map. There are a few other burnt out russian maps that are good too. Also if you play as spetznats and win they play the original russian anthem. Love that.
No man, you dont get it, you have the financial power to do whatever you want without stepping out of that flat, you could have food delivered by helicopter if you want to, or have a nice holiday somewhere in the world only to eventually return to that little piece of post apocalyptic paradise
Yes, because of the high demand for helicopter operators that have time to do your grocery shopping for you.
Seriously man, you can have all the money in the world in some places and it won't do shit because the infrastructure is non-existent.
My Ukrainian wife, the reason I lived there for a period of time, is astonished that in the US we have things like: >free bathrooms >drive thru windows >Uber/Lyft >everyone has a car >luxury items in supermarkets >so many luxury restaurants >space in general >wildlife in urban areas >natural wonders so close
I mean, these things do seem neat in concept but living there really does suck.

You do understand that the problem is not in the type of the building itself, but in its condition, the abundance of people living in it and the environment? Behind my building in 50 meters there is a huge factory of flour products. She is buzzing like a bitch.
