The original anime is alright, Fist of the north star 2 started strong and became hot garbage at the end.
I don't know how good are the other manga aside from the jagi one and the original.
DD hokuto no ken season 2 and the musical shorts are shit, and the fucking DD manga is just fucking gone and I can't find it anywhere.
The movie is legitimately great just by itself, standalone.

The original Shin, Raoh, Souther and Hokuto arcs are genuinely amazing. Tentei Arc was nice, and Asura Arc was great until Han died. As soon as they introduced Hyoh, Kaioh, and especially the Hokuto Main Bloodline, the story went to absolute shit. Haven't read much beyond that, heard Raoh has a kid and Kenshiro goes to a town where royalty has some different martial art, but I'm sure it's nothing remarkable.
Jagi Gaiden was amazing, haven't read many other Gaiden mangas but I wish there were more of them.
The animated movie was cool as well.

Is legitimately one of the funniest anime out there, like laugh out laud simpsons or a good western series tier.
It has timing and punchlines and comebacks n shit, I love it.

I watched DD Hokuto no Ken. I got bored halfway through the first season, and only watched the second one because of Ichigo Aji. Although it does have some genuinely funny moments (having Akira Kamiya join as Ryuken was brilliant), it's not my kind of thing.
I wish we had more recent projects related to Hokuto no Ken, with the new Yakuza game coming out for the 35th anniversary and whatnot. A fighting game with a new unexplored storyline would be nice, for instance.
