Okay so quick rundown. Due to historic obstruction and slow-walking of Trump Admin nominees in the Senate, the Republicans want to change the rules on debate back to how they were 4 years ago during the Obama admin (when the Democrats controlled the Senate)
As things stand there are up to 30 hours of debate on every nominee and Dems are using every second because they are cunts. This process is unsustainable and means it will take another year to approve just the people currently nominated (and that's doing bare minimum other debate on the Senate floor)
The proposal is to reduce this number back to an 8 hour limit. As it was 4 years ago.
