This manga opened as a fairy tale about a liar and a girl so standoffish and scared she was named the thorn princess. Because both of them have gotten better now, they're not "here", so naturally the story is over. But it's good that they're not here, because as they WERE, they were no good.

It's a lovely little bow on the ending. I really, really fucking like it.
