The main issue is how /u/ responds to male love interests. I'm not saying that they have to like them (even among Sup Forumsnons, you'll rarely people who like/defend characters like Tusk from Cross Ange or the Coach from Two Car) but saying things like "fucking hetshit" or "worst character ever, dropped!" is a gross overreaction. It's tumblr-esque in the sense that they react like fourteen year-old girls, which is the average user on tumblr.

The thing is, the word "hetshit" is actually mostly used in Sup Forums and originated from here by some very loud mouthpiece, it's something you rarely see in /u/ before. But recently it has undoubtedly permeated there in threads about shows which shouldn't belong to /u/ in the first place.
