Jonathan Allen
>Why aren't you all reading/have read berserk? Because it was shit, but at least the art was good. Now, it's just shit.
Landon Diaz
Berserk stopped being good years ago.
Jacob Hill
>Why aren't you all reading/have read berserk? I have up to V38 and will leave it until a suitable amount of new content is released Until then i'll continue to laugh at Beserk (2016) to stave off the depression

>Why aren't you all reading/have read berserk? Because the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc sucks and doesn't come even remotely close to how good the Conviction or Golden Age arcs were.

writing quality plummeted in the convictions arc where it became Miuras dnd campaign
Brandon Ramirez
Its funny how pic related gets a million times better cgi adaptation than berserk. It has simpler character designs that can be copy pasted, 1 island where everyone hangs out so you dont need to make huge amount of enviroments, copy pasted enemies etc. Its like its designed to be adapted into cgi. I guess berserk just is too complex to be made in cgi satisfyingly.
Austin Ward
HnK threads are generally chiller places as well filled with meaningful discussion and speculation. Nobody knows anything about Berserk here, and all they want to discuss is either Miura dying, Schierke's ass or the biology of Casca's body as she gets blacked.
Wyatt Roberts
HnK threads are cancer on Mayoiga level.
Nicholas Cox
Are you that new to compare them to Mayoiga of all shows? Lurk the fuck more, or alternatively kill yourself.
Elijah Wright
You mean like Osomatsu threads.
Christopher Torres
what a disgusting read OP. Please fuck off back to wherever you came from
Henry White
I came from Berserk
Juan Miller
art in berserk is overrated.
Benjamin Morris

Ethan Edwards
We've all been reading it user. Asuming you're up to date, welcome to the eternal ride.
Landon Walker
not him but later mayoiga threads were the epitome of cancer
Ian Price
All threads are cancerous, but Berserk threads are terminal seven brain cancer in comparison.

Get in fucking line. >Picked up Berserk back in early 2004 through the localized 1997 anime home video release >Followed the Dark Horse manga release since then >Ended up caving in and bought the Japanese tankoubon until #28 in mid-2005 to see what the fuck was happening since the English Dark Horse release was literally 20 volumes late >Asked translator to help translate the manga >Bought the Japanese releases ever since, joined the Skullknight.net forums since barely anyone else knew about the manga back then >Play both Dreamcast and PS2 games >See the manga slowly become more popular in the West (great!) >Wait for every new Berserk chapter to be scanlated >Early 2011, theatrical Berserk anime announced >Wait whole year and a half until release of first movie with tons of anticipation, rewatching the PVs over and over again, until someone uploaded the first movie >Kind of disappointed with how they covered the story and rushed through some arcs, as well as some of the CG, but still loved it >time comes and both other movies come out, still a bit underwhelmed with the CG but extremely happy about it all (bought the artbooks and merch) >Wait years to hear about sequel from Studio 4C since they explicitly said that they wanted to adapt the whole series >patiently wait for manga chapter releases, hiatus after hiatus, continue throwing money at Berserk figures and merch to satiate love for the series >Berserk returns, end of the boat, hiatus >new TV anime announced, game announced, Berserk chapters return from hiatus >TV anime ended up being complete shit >game ended up being a cheap Musou hack n' slash >Berserk returns with shitty new art style, monthly releases with slow progression >Second TV anime cour returns too, shit everywhere >"Oh well, at least there's still the mang-" >MANGA HIATUS FOR HALF A YEAR UNTIL WINTER I mean, I'm used to it by now, but I swear if Miura returns for 3 chapters and gets on another 6-month hiatus...
Anthony King
>be me Fuck off.
Isaiah Baker
You kind of just answered your own point. HnK has very minimalist designs. paneling, and artwork, which is very appealing to animators and directors because they can literally fill in the blanks with either more content or with artistic freedom. Same for One's Mob Psycho. Meanwhile, Berserk is very elaborate with the artwork and storyline so far. Which makes the people dealing with the anime very wary. I mean, why animate every character with intricate armor in 2D and having to redraw it every frame instead of use CGI? I don't blame them, but for god's fucking sakes why couldn't they have spent much more time making the 3D models more elaborate? It literally looks like they had 2 days to model every Berserk character.
