It seems to me a lot of attacks of pol/alt-right are claiming that we're only losers who are lashing out because of failures in life. I believe it for a significant minority, but I do think it's a minority. There's of course the pics from pol meetups and such where you can tell everyone pictured either is a loser, or isn't and is embarrassed to be there. But I think those are likely full of the losers because only losers would see value in that. See, right now, you can go on various chat networks and find others to talk to and broaden your worldview, but if you meetup in person you can get validation from others and feel better about yourself. If you're successful, you're probably more interested in just learning more and bettering yourself, which you can do already right now. Plus if you're pictured at a Sup Forums meetup that probably isn't great professionally, if it is at all public.
So tell me Sup Forums, where are you in life? Are you happy with your life? Are you here because things haven't gone so well and you think feminists are to blame? Or are you here because you realize where we're headed and think we can do better?
I'm making $90k at my dream job and have pretty much everything I could want tbqh. Its bittersweet when I hear the alt-right talked about as losers. On one hand I think "heh yea a lot are, but I'm not" but on the other I think "no they fucking aren't, they just are fed up with bullshit"

Basically, my beliefs are my beliefs, I know I'm correct about certain things. I would like to think that my ideological company believes they are correct for similar reasons, but I worry that many are here just because of failure/insecurity and are looking for excuses, or don't have much of an identity and are looking for something to be part of. I think thats the case with the left, because I used to be on the left, and it was because it gave me something to be part of which seemed morally obviously reasonable. I think that's why most are on the left, they have no idea who they are, so they find labels and latch on. Humans fundamentally are empathetic and seek morality (when healthy) so a bit of thought is put into everything, and at first glance almost everything leftist sounds great, so they latch on. Thank God I went to occupy wall street. I could be some failure attention-whoring SJW nu-male today if I hadn't, but luckily I did go, and I was already fairly strongly left but not so much as to remove all critical thought. So when I went to occupy and saw people on drugs, homeless people trying to use it as a free food gibs opportunity, and then the absurd constant power-tripping during every 'assembly', I realized something was off. So I started doing research and really digging to verify my beliefs, and here I am.
