Everyone I've ever known from Vermont was a die hard 2A supporter. It's why their taste in politicians has always confused me. They might be the most libertarian folks in the country, but elect a socialist to rep them in DC.

This tactic will be less and less effictive. Gun ownership rates are dropping dramatically. 3% of the population has accumulated more than half of all firearms. (You have to own at least 18 to be in that 3% btw. It’s a personal goal of mine.)

Even if i was familiar with the history of the ratings they've given, I know nothing about the criteria met/unmet that the letter is supposed to represent anyway, and I'd be curious to know if that's available.
I'm going to go with my gut that in the current political climate with campaign finance laws the ways they are, that there's plenty of grimy politicking going on behind the scenes.
Vermont manufacturing is dying. GE and IBM the biggest employers and they are laying off people. The new residents are Massholes and Jew Yorkers who actually like Bernie. The public sector is how most find work around here. The taxes are nightmarish but needed to give people public sector jobs. This state is dead. I want to move to Dixie.
