Help I'm retarded. I know I might am supposed to put this in /r/ but I think I have a better chance here. I want to find this anime so I can give a DVD of it to my sister for Christmas.
I'm looking for an anime I watched around 1997-2006 One of the main characters was a muscular male with longish hair who had this demon ghost thing that would possess him sometimes and make him go berserk. I believe people referred to him as a berserker. I DON'T think the anime was "Berserk," but I could be wrong.
At one point he does something to stop the demon from possessing him, but then he needs it to happen because there are people being dicks and trying to kill him and or his buddies so he tells it to go ahead or something and then it smiles and possesses him. One of the people after him was a woman with light hair, I think. The actual possession has the demon come up behind him, transparent, and lower itself into his body from the back. The demon is floating with no legs I think. No one but the berserker can see the floating demon, just him, he's the only one that knows it's there.
At the end of every episode there's a chibi short with the characters doing cute things. One of these shorts is everyone trying to get the berserker guy to laugh. He doesn't, but then they trip or mess up and he laughs at that.
I have tried searching and I can't find shit. Help me, you're my only hope.
