I think it would be difficult to write new songs that capture the same spirit and energy. Also, each girl has their individual scenes and episodes to shine, but the focus always returns to the group as a whole, and the show is good because they're so inseparable as a group while retaining their individual personalities. So a new season with separate high school/college plotlines would be difficult to pull off well, especially with the introduction of new high school club members.
People already dislike Azusa for changing the group dynamic, so who knows how new club members would be received. Maybe it would be better to produce new individual music videos in the style of the EDs. That would be pretty cool.
