You either have low standards or you haven't seen more than three shows. It was garbage and no amount of irony can fix that. Stop forcing this "mayoiga is such a trainwreck" meme, it was pathetic then and it's pathetic now.
Austin Wright
It was a fun ride, a shame you missed it.
Josiah Kelly
Its not really a trainwreck and it was pretty enjoyable. >there were people expecting deaths Now, that was comedy.
Landon Long
...
Thomas Martinez
It was incredibly fun for the memes until we came to the collective realization that no, it's not going to be an enjoyable trainwreck, it's just garbage that didn't live up to our forced hype.
Elijah Clark
I dropped it around episode 8, i plan on picking it up again someday just to finish it
Xavier Myers
Thank you mods so much for allowing absolute cancer to fester on Sup Forums.
Aaron Collins
>but self conscious that it is shit You're giving it way too much credit. Mayoiga is just awful.
Dominic Fisher
Actually, I think that it is pretty funny exactly because I watched a lot of shitty "horror" animes. It uses most of the common tropes, but subverts them entirely.
>muh ghost girl, but she isn't actually dead, we just didn't asked enough questions >muh "I can see ghosts, but I actually can't" >muh secret village, inside another village >muh rape atempt, but the guy actually dies before he even try
I don't know if it is intentional, but it is gold humor and very atypical from the standard observational and boke tsukkomi humor.
Wyatt James
The threads were more fun than the actual show.
Connor Parker
Man, I really miss Mayoiga threads.
Luke Carter
>implying Yottsun dindu nuffin. He's a nigger of Jesus.
It's because it really presents itself as a gore porn anime in the first couple of episodes. A cast full of wacky characters, a psychopath kid, that """scary""" soundtrack, etc.
Levi Roberts
This.
Mayoiga was so bad that it wasn't even fun and the threads were shit.
Kayden Morgan
2/10 show, 10/10 threads on Sup Forums
Ryder Morris
>it really presents itself as a gore porn anime in the first couple of episodes What the fuck.
Eli Gonzalez
Gore porn: shit like Another, Oosama Game, etc. Take a bunch of characters, put a random mystery and make most of them die in some gory ways because why the fuck not?
Christopher Howard
Hence the "what the fuck", I was surprised to see there are people expecting "gore porn" just from the first couple of episodes and still had hope even after the relatively non eventful episodes in terms of gore scene.I guess there are people with retarded expectation(s) and cling onto it long.
Samuel Carter
post yfw mayoiga started airing almost two years ago
Andrew Lee
That's why I said that it presents itself like that during the first couple of episodes. After that, IMO, it became clear that it was only using the common tropes from this kind of anime, but subverting them (probably for shits and giggles).
I felt like I got trolled watching this anime and I'm a good sport. GG, Mizushima.
Alexander James
So, she was just high during the entire trip?
Sebastian Cruz
>That's why I said that it presents itself like that during the first couple of episodes I never felt it that way and cant understand why, but okay.
The breaking point for me was the Lovepon's mad rambling and how nobody took it seriously after a while. Also, that fucking penguin. Before that, I was expecting it to be either a really bad "horror" or a weird drama.
Angel James
>It's because it really presents itself as a gore porn anime in the first couple of episodes Ah yes, the infamous gore porn hippopotamus song trope and the infamous gore porn exploding basketball were dead giveaways. Not to mention the infamous spooky silly woman singing a lullaby in her first appearance that we see all the time in gore porn. What a classic.
Xavier Ortiz
>infamous gore porn hippopotamus song trope I just dismissed that as another weird "travel song" that people sing in school travels. But yeah, looking back that could be another signal. Also, it didn't got much focus.
>infamous gore porn exploding basketball To be honest, I just got too confused during this part. I dismissed as a "2deep4u" shit that could be explained later.
>infamous spooky silly woman singing a lullaby in her first appearance It actually spooked me, but I'm pretty weak for horror shit anyway. I thought that it was actually a good evidence that they were going for the horror stuff. During later scenes that she sang that shit I understood that it was actually a running gag.
Andrew Ward
I watched Mayoiga with Sup Forums it wasn't that great
Logan Peterson
The memes looks fun, tho.
Camden Ross
...
William Sullivan
I unironically enjoyed this anime, not even in a so bad its good way, I actuality liked it, reminded me of Lost in some ways.
Hunter Wilson
...
Easton White
Was a wonderful mystery of what the fuck is even going on.
