Is this any good or just shounen shit

Is this any good or just shounen shit

Need you even ask?

It's a grimdark edgefest staring a bland mary sue and filled to the brim with padding and asspulls.

So yeah, the latter.

Its worse, its materialized waifufaggoty and erogeshit, truly the ultimate form of autism desu.

It was really entertaining but you're not going to get anything more than you would from UBW.

>mal

If we're talking about just Heaven's feel movies, I wouldn't call it good. I CERTAINLY wouldn't call it a good entry point into Fate stuff either.

HF movie just sort of moves from "moment" to "moment" without really feeling like a movie - feels more like a checklist of VN scenes they wanted to include. There's also some really lazy stuff in this - timestamps for a flashback in an intro, really bad 3DCG backgrounds (especially when compared to stuff this year like Kizumonogatari), a feeling of ending at 3-4 times in the film that makes everything feels like it's dragging on, and more.

Should have expected it, since Tomonori Sudou has only done animation directing, not directing directing. Ufotable took a really weird gamble using an unknown director for one of their biggest money makers.

he directed mirai fukuin

Checked - you're right. Weird. Thought Mirai Fukuin was at least okay.

Maybe not having to deal with overflowing amounts of source material made things more manageable? Even so, the timestamps in HF's intro are unbelievably lazy. I'm really surprised no one asked for a revision on that.

If you’re going to start the fate series, do NOT start here. It’s written assuming you’ve already seen Unlimited Blade Works.

heavens feel is very meh
sakura is the worst girl and shirou goes real dumb to try and love her in spite of all the nonsense that happens in the story

>shirou goes real dumb
Thats the entire point of the route

You display anger, VNfags! Is it rage due to Apocrypha being better than Stay Night?!

>Emiya "Girls shouldn't fight even if they're King Arthur, and I shouldn't change my mind on things even if my literal future self says I was wrong" Shirou
>goes dumb in HF
As expected of someone who can't even into basic punctuation, much like retarded opinions like "Sakura is the worst girl".

When will it be available online to watch?

If you legitimately think this, you should throw yourself into the nearest incinerator and die in fire.

What would an Illya H-scene be like?

You'd get to choose whether she'd wear white or black lingerie.

Why would a child own lingerie?

She *does* own lingerie. I'm pretty sure Illya is about the same age as Shirou.

And she's a little seductress.

It's factually the worst of the three routes.
It's not even shounen. It's just bad end trash filled with absolute assholes and monsters who they've absolutely failed to make us sympathize with terrible sub /d/ tier porn included to lure in the lowest of the low in japanese society.

There's a reason why they shit on HF and that there's never ever been a single solitary attempt at making a HF movie or story.

Even in UBW they pushed sakura to the side.

The fate route is shounen though. The poorly made 12 ep only shounen filled with horrifyingly awful porn and a deeply stupid story.

>It's not even shounen
And that's why you hate it.
>There's a reason why they shit on HF and that there's never ever been a single solitary attempt at making a HF movie or story.
You mean other than the HF movies and manga which are both among the greatest TM adaptations of all time?
>Even in UBW they pushed sakura to the side.
That statement doesn't even make any sense, secondary. If anything, the anime crew went out of their way to make UBW Sakura look appealing within what little screentime she had.

It's good for fans of the series.
Which means it's fanservice for people who already read the VN.

She is older than Sherow.

Watched at the theater. I really regret doing that. Fucking thing was a mess and I swear to god that first half was all over the place.

I mean it gets a little better as it goes but not so much to even make a difference.

Honestly just thank yourself for sparing the cash and wait for the rips.

Fate is basically just shounenshit with h-scenes. Enjoy it for what it is.

It's not worth wasting your very precious time on user.

It's seinenshit.
Shounen doesn't allow that kind of gore.

Read Kagetsu Tohya.

This.
Wormslut just be a tragic villain and HF as a whole should have been the Loli Route.

This image made me download the VN and finally read it after lurking Sup Forums and seeing F S/N memes on and off for like 8 years and dropping out a college.

It's a real slow burn but the biggest problem with it is that most of the early servant fights with the shadow and TA don't have many CGs from what I recall. Just loads of black screens and text. After seeing the first movie in November I can legit say the movies are going to be the best way to enjoy HF. Read the part if you

For me it was actually pic related that me read HF

>needing CGs
>not enjoying Nasu's prose
Nothing will ever beat the VN experience. Pic related, they'll never correctly adapt this shit to a movie format. Same with HF.

Watched it last month. Technical quality is off the charts, much better animation and background art
than any Fate adaptation so far. Consistent character models and less rhino faces than UBW, but still no Zero noses.
Sakura's voice actress has thankfully improved a lot, the rest is still great as always (God bless Kirei's actor, he fucking delivered in the mapo tofu scene).
Sound effects are great, especially the weapons clashes and whooshes, and the OST is your typical Ufotable stuff with Kalafina chanting and an Aimer comeback, but it doesn't disappoint at all. It's far more effective at conveying a sense of menace that what we've heard in UBW, and the usage of leitmotifs for the characters comes back (which was the best thing about UBW's OST IMO).
Also, movie has absolutely stellar FOOD PORN.

Now, here are the big issues:

- VN readers will probably hate it because it messes with the timeline quite a bit, takes some liberties with the plot and character designs (there's a big one with Berserker), and MANY liberties with how the battles play out compared to the source material. I can see a lot of them hating the main one for sure.

- Secondaries who have skipped UBW will hate it because the movie basically assumes you watched it and just goes straight to the new stuff without explaining anything about the war's setup and glossing over some aspects of Shirou's character.
In fact, people who are meeting Shirou for the first time will probably hate his literal guts and think he's an absolute moron.

- Hardcore Rinfags will be butthurt about her reduced screentime, and the same goes for Illyafags.

- Hardcore Sakurafags will be butthurt about the direction her character is headed. I can confirm all the sex and violence stuff from the VN is 100% coming back, Ufo is going full edgefest with this adaptation, even more than Zero.

- Saber is still overly shilled as always, but Alter will piss some of her fans.

What was your first playthrough of FSN like?

The world really drew me in. I still need to read Tsukihime because I like how it's not just strictly about power levels in the nasuverse. Stuff like simply fighting two enemies is actually worthwhile in this universe instead of "Oh he has a bigger beam than I do so I can't do shit nigga"
Also I'm a really empathetic person so Shirou's hero complex is kinda relatable.
In regards to the routes, I enjoyed UBW the most with HF and then Fate the least. All of them are still really good despite what shitposters and secondaries say.
Sparks Liner High is my favorite ending.

Hollow/Ataraxia is also really good and I let out loads of tears at this part . I'm still getting through it again with the voice patch.

That was the joke

Watched the movie in theaters and regret it.

>Hardcore Sakurafags will be butthurt about the direction her character is headed
Sudo is a complete Sakurafag who made the main focus of the movie to make Sakura as endearing as possible, though. He's definitely not going to skimp on making it clear why she's still lovely and sympathetic in the later movies.

Bleach is infinitely superior to Fate and Kubo is a god compared to Nasu.
