So, How big is your manga folder Sup Forums?

So, How big is your manga folder Sup Forums?

i stream my manga

I just delete it after I'm done with it. There's only 30 or so manga worth reading anyways.

0 bytes.

faggots

>downloading manga

I don't see the point, there are good websites to read stuff online.

>not streaming manga on youtube

I usually just read online or buy what I've liked. Having an entire bookcase of manga is rather comfy.

>low quality shit
How do you live with yourselves?

Nigga they are fucking jpgs no need to downloaded

>2k chapters
About 30 manga

Try +100 smaller series. Sorry I don't read long running shounenshit.

there's no manga worth reading that's only 20 chapters long. You're reading only cancelled series or what?

Read more manga.

qualia you fuck

Manga being the constant popularity contest that it is. No, I won't.

Good for you.

My new years resolution is to add some 30TB of hard drives to my homeserver and become one of the official backup mirrors for the goddess.

>Manga being the constant popularity contest that it is
What is this normalfag logic? Don't fucking come into this thread if you have nothing to contribute.

What readers do you guys use for your downloaded manga?

Normalfags love things that are popular though.

How big is the server for kissmanga.com?

Whatever that is.

windows photo viewer

Are you literate? I literally said I don't read long running shounenshit. Why don't you actually list off some of the "30 only good series worth following". Otherwise fuck off and leave the thread for people who actually enjoy manga.

My monitor turned 90*

But only XP one, 7 does not animate gifs.

>rec thread
Against the rules buddy. My argument is that no manga is only 20 chapters long because manga are solely created to tell the longest possible story. it's a popularity contest thing and all you're reading are things that are trying to appeal to as much people as possible at a single time. There's no artistic integrity. Everything even remotely well written is more likely to be a LN author.

Translated: 181 GB.
Rae: 555 GB.

>Everything even remotely well written is more likely to be a LN author.
I

*Raw

statistically true

The only LN adaptation I didn't hate was Kino's Journey, and even that got pretty stupid at some points.

>adaptation

I've read a couple of original LNs and they were just as bad. Your point?

Show a picture with timestamp of the LNs you own

honeyview

i save a lot of manga expecting to some day binge everything i've downloaded but i never do.

>My argument is that no manga is only 20 chapters long because manga are solely created to tell the longest possible story
There exist publications outside of Shounen Jump you know.

Yes. Fetish manga made purely to pander to a specific audience in order to make dough. If the sales dwindle they'll get a gracing period to finish enough chapters to sell another volume and then cancelled.

Bigger than I thought

ComicRack
Is the best

3TB Manga HDD
25TB stack HDD for anime.

I have about 1.9TB of manga and most if not all of my stack full with anime.

"If you love something, download it. It may not be there forever."

>this
>plus after i watch the video i report the video and they get the video shut down for copyright

Jorgito volvio

About 100gb is my backlog though.

Honest question. Why the hell would you download manga/doujins? With anime you download because streaming fucks the quality and you only get 1 option for subs. Manga is reading black and white drawings that are scanned. There is no reason to download them.

>that barely beats my hentai folder
casual

I don't have to worry about my slow ass internet trying to load every single page. Also, with the Goddess I don't have to search for every single Scanlator site.

Basically this

Also having the manga panels in my pc somes in handy when i'm trying to post an image from a manga here on Sup Forums.
And my internet connection is pretty shit so whenever i lose connection i can read the stuff i have already downloaded.

>keep them forever even if they disappear off the internet
>easy to organize and keep track of when they're in folders
>constantly exists as a reminder of your backlog
>can read if you're offline/the internet is down
>can move to various devices easily and again, read offline to avoid sucking up data
>programs for reading comic files > the inconvenience of loading, clicking buttons, ads, etc depending on the website
>can delete pages that don't belong in a series, like scanlator ads or fanart or whatever

In the end I just like having my 'library' as personalized and accessible as possible, my folders are arranged specifically to my preferences. If it takes me an extra few minutes to download a series, so be it.

there's no point in downloading manga, at worst someone can name a bunch of non issues with streaming and that's it

I don't dl manga but for doujins I need my fap material organized my way, instantly viewable, and there for on the go purposes when no internet.

...

so big

144 GB

100 GB for normal
44 GB for H-manga.

I stopped saving manga few years ago. I should probably start back again and batch download all of my favorite ones again.

there they are

Downloaded Goddess a few months back

~401 GB, probably read less than 100gb of it though.

around 95GB of h-manga and doujinshi

...

why do you assume it's low quality?

>those folder numbers
>thsoe sizes
what sort of garbage scans do you people download? i have 16gb from 125 fucking folders and 9200 files. fuck manga though.

The total size of the folders divided by number of files

>It may not be there forever
This isn't the 90s, grandpa.

Someone got paid to draw that? It can't be very good if it has drawings like that.

...

I don't unzip most manga and they're mostly sorted by volume. Thus the low folder count.
Sumatra is pretty nice.

I honestly have a really hard time finding manga I want to read, especially when I refuse to read translations and raws are harder to find.

>Someone got paid to draw that?

Pocket Manga

I don't download manga, maybe I should. not like I don't have the drive space.

Small

What do you mean? I read everything at mangafox

About half a terabyte, until I started deleting a few things.

My USB of 128 GB's worth of manga got corrupted recently so I went out and bought one for 256 GB's and did things carefully this time. Left everything in the zip/rar files and only downloaded officially translated shit, sorted everything in proper folders, and etc.

56gb exactly, i don't save doujins

>bought one for 256 GB
jesus, why? do I have to Sup Forums this thread up on how to store your data?

rate my anime collection

Irfanview

not enough/10

you are just a data hoarder

About the same size as mine, surprised it manages to take up that much space.

About 27 GB. A lot larger than I was expecting.

what's wrong with hoarding data?

extremely pleb and entry level

Basically everything you said.

Having too much data is suffering, I can't resolve to delete anything anymore and its a pain to deal with each season.

Surely you haven't forgotten about the great Megapocalypse of 2010? If something like that were to happen again, those who didn't have backups would be up a creek.

just buy more hard drives

Is there any sites that I can download manga or do I have to go through scanlator site?

Generally they're either on the scanlator's site or linked from there. Last time I checked there's a massive manga torrent on /t/ too for stuff that's finished and has been for a while.

>not just streaming your manga

CDisplay

I've tried several, and Honeyview is the best by far. It's lightweight, good-looking, and easy to use.

About 400 gigs I think. Lord knows I'm never gonna read it all.
Honeyview on pc, tachiyomi on phone
You ain't seen nothing yet boy

CDisplay. I still can't find a better viewer... Maybe I should make one myself.

Can you read your own manga you transfer to your phone on tachiyomi?

2nd for honeyview

On PC: CDisplay

On phone: moonbook reader pro version

Was surprised that moonbook reader supported cbz formats

Yeah you can put your manga inside the tachiyomi folder and it'll show up in the catalog. Works with zips and some other formats
