It was better than Grave of the Fireflies. Fight me

It was better than Grave of the Fireflies. Fight me.

You're right. But the stories are completely different. The only thing they have in common is the time period.

>it's better than a commercial dogturd children's movie for children
Wow. Surprising absolutely no one. I believe you though believe me I will never watch that drivel

who are you quoting?

OP

That's not difficult.

But Setsuko is so cute

It's obvious you haven't seen Hotaru no Haka if you seriously believe this.
That's no children movie and this one is completely different. Only the time period is similar.

Don't reply to him, he was shitposting in that Miyazaki thread earlier with the same bullshit.

>romaji
English motherfucker. Stop trying so hard to fit-in.

>they're different
Never claimed otherwise

>that's no children's movie
Ehh...gotta buzz you on that one.

not him but if you want to talk about the title then you should at least call it in the original language it was made in.

No. It has a perfect English title. Nobody but the biggest newfag tools use romaji.

My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute

ok, so youre going to land of the lustrous instead of houseki no kuni. or like the moon so beautiful instead of tsukigakirei. or eccentric family instead of uchouten. is that what youre telling me?

Do you call FMA 'Hagane no Renkinjutsushi'?

A lot of things are better than Emotionally Manipulative: The Movie

GotF is overrated.

I liked how the movie was baiting that the girl was going to go to Hiroshima within days of the nuke dropping but didn't.

It has been sitting on my harddrive for months. I want to watch it but I also don't want to be really sad and so I keep putting it off. I know it's not supposed to be suffering porn but the setting alone brings to mind a lot of things that are.

I wouldn't say one's better than the other. They're both great and accomplish different things.

It has a happy ending but somehow I still feel sad.

It's my favorite movie in which a protagonist reacts to news of WW2 ending with outraged anger.

It's a beautiful film honestly. The suffering isn't used to pull tears.

Best movie out of the 2016 Your Name, Koe no Katachi trio. Beautiful and distinct visual direction. The way they used a painting canvas to depict the bombing of kure by the burgers was pure kino.
Your Name is just the usual shinkai filter background. It was nothing special.

Hmm, I would have to re-watch Grave of the Fireflies but I think you might be on to something. Both are great movies.

It was originally released in cinema as a double feature with Totoro, for children so it is a childrens film

>Better than Grave of the Fireflies
Not hard

FMA is also the tittle, not just a translation for english marketing

>Emotionally Manipulative: The Movie
A narrative being biased doesn't make it an objectively bad story. People who watch films can understand that much, why can't anime-watchers do the same? Is it just too inherently low-IQ a medium or something?

I don't think so but it had a really great theme song that should have featured somewhere in the movie
the trailer was damn good

>unironically watching and enjoying jap propaganda
