How come anime gets turned into live action, but live action never gets turned into anime? Are there examples of this I'm unaware of?

Yes

This is Sup Forums, you aren't exactly drowning ing good threads

There's Seven Samurai but it's not very good

literally only 5 in existence
>Garo is all one thing
>Pingu doesn't count since it's all animation

There was an old magical girl ecchi series that had animated sections and live action sections.

Akira was also an anime adaption of Tetsuo: the Ironman.

>Akira was also an anime adaption of Tetsuo: the Ironman.
lol what the fuck am I reading

>Akira was also an anime adaption of Tetsuo: the Ironman.

Akira the movie aired one year earlier and the manga was close to being finished by that point too.

Kamen Rider had a manga

Dive? Ping Pong?

>live action never gets turned into anime

There's literally a Sound of Music anime.

...

There was an anime based on that Milla Jovovich movie for some reason

Lord Fauntleroy.

Live actions, unlike anime, have a bigger audience. It make sense to go from anime (smaller audience) to live action (bigger audience) with the purpose of shilling but not the vice versa.

There's also milfblade

Ultraman got one

And im not sure if it would count but the crows movies got/are getting manga versions all of which came after them im pretty sure so i guess thats an example of one?

There are lots of live-action and videogames that would be excelent as anime/manga.
Also, doesn't Animatrix count?

GARO, 3 times
