Ping Pong

Just rewatched this. Still the AOTD, no question.

Shirobako would like a word with you

Agree

It's not AOTD but it's definitely great

And that word would be what?

no, it's AOTD

PING PONG ROLL

that piece of shit

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW YEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Agreed, fucking fantastic show.

Also a worthy contender. 2014 was a good year.

every fucking time

It's crazy how many characters this show was able to develop in what, 11 episodes?
Especially Konge Wenge accepting Japan as his new home was a great character arc.

Somethings bothering me, though. Isn't taking painkillers repeatedly to continue the match cheating?

It's an amateur highschool tournament

Probably the only watchable Yuasa anime. Great adaptation.

>ping pong
Ping pong. Fucking ping pong, like seriously? What's next? Curling? Badminton? Fucking stupid.
Also it looks like it was animated in MS Paint. Enjoy your overrated shit.

Go read the source material, the animation fits almost exactly what it would look like in motion.

I hate the OP tbqh desu
The ED is 10/10 feels barrage though

the art style is superb

>it looks like shit on purpose
Okay then.

>It's crazy how many characters this show was able to develop in what, 11 episodes?
I think so to. It's because it's not just a sports anime, and in fact the sport is a minor focus. Ping pong is used as a vehicle for characters to have revelations about themselves and come to terms with various aspects of their psyche and lives. Even minor characters like webm related get developed in a brief match. My only gripe is that Ryuuichi didn't get to play Smile

It looks pretty good, though.

tfw

>that whole episode 5

Wasn't a fan of people praising Yuasa as a directing genius when it's basically a 1:1.

I lost

>Probably the only watchable Yuasa anime.
that's not tatamy galaxy

I know that's why I mentioned this was his only watchable one.
Baffling post.

I mean?

newfag get out

>me everyday but without cake

And to compare with the in anime shot.

This show has me in my feelings.
