Most of the (non-chocolate) candy is similar to stuff from the west.
Some of the flavors of the savory stuff are definitely Japanese (to the point of perhaps being offputting to some people), but pretty much boils down to different shapes/flavors of crunchy & salty snacks, pretty much like the rest of the world.
