>despite some flaws
There's your answer.

I liked it better than the OVA's

>Trigger telling yurifags to fuck off by forcing het
>Hetshit destroyed its chances of ever selling
>Trigger went full pandering to yurifags
Had Kemono Friend had that bullshit, it would've been forgotten easily. Thank God it didn't have it. That's why a het bastardized show like LWA will never be in the same league as Kemono Friends.

I haven't actually finished it, but what I've seen has been good. Not as good as the original, but better than the sequel. I think not being as good as the original is the root of the problem. Or maybe, I remember when I first picked it up, I wished it had just continued from the OVA, and the whole alternate reality threw me off for a while.

I haven't finished it because I got bored by the time Croix was introduced. Akko does something stupid, gets neglected and made fun of, kind of but not really learns something new, rinse repeat. It's a fun series though. OVAs were better.

I loved it all, can't wait for more

When will you fags stop making daily threads?

Seriously what the fuck are you even discussing?

...

Sup Forums is not one person

>yurifag
>Kemonoshitter

Can you be any more of a faggot?

I liked it, Sup Forums is just being contrarian because muh netflix

Terrible direction (especially music direction) and poorly planned out story.

Sup Forums has terrible opinions

Sup Forums has shit taste, there's nothing wrong with TV LWA

The show is a good time for sure, lots of fun and interesting characters in the show.
I think the show has some sort of identity crisis, confused as whether to be a show about Witches going to school in a Slice of Life way, or a show with an underlying narrative with politics inserted for good measure and an easy conflict to have.
Thats why some anons find episodes that focus on individual characters as either filler or the best episodes in the season.

Tbh it was very boring.

Sup Forums did like it? Are you from mirror universe Sup Forums?

*didn't

I just want to be the one to post this image, usually I come too late. Also Akko is just too goddamn cute, if I ever descend to the lowest levels of weebery I'd even waifu her.

>Trigger went full pandering to yurifags
That never happened.

akko is a shitty, unlikeable character and the whole show revolves around her bullshit

shiny rod chose poorly

I liked it and I think people here liked it.

Its just it was a good show but wasn't at all AOTY or anything like that

Go back to your shithole, fag.
You clearly aren't here for the threads when the final episode hits.

this is the ideal female personality
you may not like it, but this is what peak waifu looks like

male characters ruined it

It was mediocre. Sub par. Had it been even good, I think Sup Forums would have received it better, but the OVAs set the bar too high and the tv show delivered too little.

Stop being tsundere, Diana

I enjoyed it greatly. Why else would I keep lurking threads on Sup Forums for the hope of being able to talk about it even a little bit more? I fucking love this show.

I WANT TO CUM INSIDE SUCY!

oh hey its me and im still alone go figure

>it's a Constanze episode

Literally every single person on Sup Forums loves this show. I asked them.

Diana a shit.

>Sup Forums is one person

...

Well, this is cute.

>TRIGGER
Hardy harr har

...

>that filename

I saw it as a nice substitute for Harry Potter, something you'd let your kids watch, but anime. I don't think it had a mature story adults could appreciate as much but I still liked it.

You fucker

This is my OTP, why would I be triggered? Andrew's family is also prosperous while Diana's family is selling their shit to keep their home. Pretty soon Akko will be richer than Diana and attending all of the balls that Diana brags about.

Nice

why are there so many shipper fags shipping characters in this series? it's clearly mostly for kids and completely devoid of actual mature romance subtext or subplots

Source?

Rivalshipping is good shit.

You answered your own question.

The "shiny rod" is obviously a metaphor for dildos.

It's the blandest, most generic and most overused cliche ship in the history of shipping. I fucking hate it.

pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=63041904

Good for you.

I thought /a liked the show. Sure, there's always a few people here who go to what's popular just to bad mouth it, but these people are feeble and easily ignored.
Akko is a treasure, Constanse is a cutie, and Ursula needs the hugs.

>Ursula needs the hugs.

If you don't see the sexual tension between Akko and Andrew then you're probably a faggot. Or a faggot sympathizer.

>Sup Forums is one person
Loving this meme.

...

>OTP
>all of the fanfic gets downvoted or its comment sections turns into a shitstorm
W...why does everyone hate this pairing so much?

trigger enablers are so retarded that they still think is sincere even after it's been posted in random threads multiple times per day for like three months now, what a shit studio

As a romantic pairing, I don't like it either. Their relationship as Student-Teacher as it is though, is adorable.

As to the vehement hate for them as a ship, it comes down to a couple reasons from what I've seen. The general stupidity is just dislike for the age gap. The slightly less stupid reasoning is distaste for Student-Teacher romances, which are generally illegal as an "Abuse of a position of trust". The /really/ stupid reasoning is those who perceive Ursula/Chariot as a mother figure to Akko and dislike the pseudo-incestous implications of the ship that they thus perceive.

Or, in short, shit-taste.

>all of the fanfic gets downvoted or its comment sections turns into a shitstorm
>everyone
Stop overblowing what's basically nothing. It's just one autist that thinks she should tell people what to ship. As you can see, there's a sector of the fanbase that craves for stories about those two.

And if you ask me, this week has ben good with new fics.

>all of the fanfic gets downvoted or its comment sections turns into a shitstorm
That literally hasn't happened, though.

Cute!
>everyone
>Hate
Only easily triggered burgerfags hate it.

I always thought Diana would be the big spoon.

Everyone wants to be the little spoon sometime or another. Everyone likes feeling loved and protected like that.

chariot doesn't deserve akko

This is not as comfy as they make it seem, like my arm was numb after doing this.

And Croix doesn't deserve Chariot, yet here we are.

This show felt like at least 3/4th of all the episodes were fillers without any impact on the next episodes or the story line as a whole.
That OVA from years ago was so much better, I expected more from this anime after watching first episode.
It felt like the creators had some good idea but failed to realize it in time and were forced to make your "basic harry potter" thingies.

It's not about being comfy per-se, so much as whom you're doing it with.

Yet Akko loves her.
Also, this.

I just wish Akko actually grew as a witch. Throughout the series, you never actually see her improve, even slightly (I know there was a reasoning, but still).

Because Sup Forums's a bunch of faggots

I do like it. You're not alone.

it was my favorite anime of 2017 desu

akko fucking adorable

I didn't like it because they turned some pretty good OVAs into a barely above mediocre show. Really the best thing we got out of it was some socialist memes from the protest episode.

How to improve it:
Don't waste so much time in the early episodes
Different villain (the one we got sucked)
Let Akko find out about Ursula earlier on

アーシュラ先生がシャイニィシャリオとして活躍してたのは16歳の時。今から10年前とのこと。26歳…良い

Funzine > Luna Novazine imo. The Novazine has better physical quality m and extras from the bundles and the art itself is mostly great, but I preferred the comics approach from the the Funzine (the "forbidden love" comic was absolutely hilarious and I'm deadass certain the artist is from here). It was also more shippy than I thought but it wasn't just with Diakko which was a plus

It's just one person, but it's not like there's that many to begin with so it's not a big deal.

Which disappeared after episode 17.

Too bad no scans for anyone of the two, though.

What would you say the ratio for pairings was like? Cause Novazine had like, twice as many Diana/Akko pics as everything else combined.

Akko was a blockhead, but at least she wasn't a jock. She was a loveable blockhead, who just needs help getting her homework into her low RAM brain. Akko was perfect.

The director explicitly said that Akko has no interest in boys and that her only opinion of Andrew is that he is a good friend.

>The director explicitly said that Akko has no interest in boys
Based on producer's reason of her not being an "easy girl that fall in love with every prtty boy she encounters" basically not being a slut.

So she's the perfect girl

That doesn't translate she's gay, user.

just skimmed this post but I bet it means they had s*x
I wish I could have sex with a boy ;_;

Most of the shipping came from Croix/Chariot, and it didn't have anything out there like that one really cute Akko/Cons piece from the Luna Nova book.

At least you can still buy the PDFs, which is more than one can say for basically every other LWA fan book (I think k the kirusu books are still in stock at least)

Where can I torrent the french dub o LWA, I cancelled my netflix subscription and I don't want to give my shekels to them again.

The majority of LWA threads these daysare senseless circlejerks with some criticism here and there. I don't know why you're bitching, OP, unless you want your threads to be reddit-like with all the criticism being downvoted

Technically what he said was that theirs is a "Playful Guy-Guy Relationship".

>Most of the shipping came from Croix/Chariot
As expected from a doujin organized by Bento.

Indeed. Bless him for his taste tho, and all he's done for us.

not enough sucy feet

So here's a question: with regards to Netflix anime in general, would you say it tends to be good, bad, or mixed?

Mixed? I mean, we can say whatever about Netflix and their policies of binge watching and shitty subs, but they tend to greenlight the kind shows that would normally not pass in the current regular market.

>original script calls for Akko to fall in love with Andrew
>all of the yurishits started a shitstorm on Twitter
>Netflix got wind
>they slowly back off
Still traces of the romance left if you look hard enough.

What the fuck are you talking about? All of Netflix's shit was being made before they "greenlit" it, all they do is provide a platform.

I don't like Netflix either, but do you honestly believe they were the ones that made trigger drop Akko's crush with Andrew midway through the season?
