Thats enjoyable anime. Not good anime.
Enjoyment.
But everyone's going to say that, so I'll try doing my own thing
>well-developed characters
>good direction
>soundtrack that fits in with the anime itself
>decent animation and backgrounds - although a good plot may make even the shittiest animation tolerable
I only like good anime.
If it's enjoyable it's good
Cute girls
>entertainment is entertaining
>not good
My taste is absolute and every anime I like is also good
Depends on how you wanna define "good". If your personal enjoyment is the only valuable metric, then anything can be good, no matter how fucking godawful it is. This is variant of "good" that most people tend to use to justify them watching whatever garbage seasonal dredge is in question. If you want to move more towards an objective appraisal of what is "good", then you have to start considering competent writing and direction, animation quality and design, voice work etc.

Fun things are fun.
Anime is good when it fits the definition of good.
Normies were a mistake.
Saying it's "fun" is a cop out. The whole reason why so much of anime is so lazy and similar to each-other is because of people like you who have an inability to appraise due to narrow interests as a result of either lack of exposure to multiple art forms or stunted emotional development.

There's a difference. I enjoyed Mirai Nikki when watching it for the first time but when I can't look back at it and say it was a good anime.
is correct; anime, and art and general, should be held to a higher standard than just 'fun', it should offer something beyond that.
