Was Neji right about destiny?
Was Neji right about destiny?
yes. naruto was literally played out as the chosen one of prophecy later in the series.
/thread
Yes and he freaked out when Hinata pointed out his hypocrisy of claiming to be better than her.
Yeah, it was pretty underwhelming, but hopefully they can fix it with patches.
Too bad he proved he was right by getting himself killed during the war...
You know what they say, if you kill your enemies they win
after Kishi decided that you need giant chakra fox mecha monsters or spinning eyeballs to become powerful? yes
He was wrong about his destiny.
I don't even remember what he said
Yes, we all die in the end.
Yeah, hard work will only take you so far.
Fuck naruto, he inspired the viewers to fight against their fates but he fucking ended up as a chosen one himself.
I won't forgive him.
Depends. There were like 3 chosen ones and 2 of them turned out to be the chosen ones according to the frog god who thought there would be only one.
>4th Hokage’s fucking son
>Named by Legendary Peevy sage
>Half of his blood is from legendary wiped out clan
>Has a fucking demon fox with Chakra from god of universe that freely gives it to him, how he even won this fight btw
He may not have known but Naruto was the last goddamn person who deserved to talk about fate effects your importance
Lee should’ve been the one to prove Neji wrong
Its funny how Naruto went from "hur dur destiny means shit" to "i wonder which caracter with a bloodline ability or jinchuriki will be deemed worthy of existence next episode"
To be fair he wasn't aware of any of these things, and for the most part just thought he was an orphan with no talent. If it had stayed that way i wonder how the story would have been like.
>how he even won this fight btw
wait am i remembering this wrong? didn't he win by actually being kinda clever and hitting neji from below, being out of the byakugan's range?
As much as I wanna say yes cause of the whole Naruto is actually ninja jesus shit no he wasn't right. Naruto albeit being gifted with all that shit still had to put a shit ton of work into making everything work. Also while Neji did die protecting a Hyuuga main branch member he didn't do it cause of muh obligation to the main branch. He wanted his cousin to be with the man she loved since forever and wanted them to be together.
Naruto barely worked hard. The only times he did were during crunch time, imagine if he'd worked as hard in the academy as he did treewalking. He was more or less keeping pace with sasuke who had a shit ton more practice controlling chakra
Naruto literally succeed because he wa destined to succeed.
He suceed because he has infinite amount of stamina/chakra plot armor bullshit, it makes the enture muh fate vs muh hard work pointless.
If he was literal no one who actually manage to succeed because of his own hard work and guts, sure, but with that amount of royality he has behind, fuck this.
A lot of people think Neji was referring to genes when he was going on about the whole destiny spiel. But it was more like a status kind of thing. And yeah Naruto came from famous people. But it's not like anyone aside from the famous people he was tied with gave a fuck.
The Akatsuki cared
They cared more about the fox. Once they got the fox they would have just left Naruto's corpse like they did with Gaara's
Jiriya - linked to the Third and Fourth Hokage
Kakashi - linked to the Fourth Hokage
Killer Bee - linked to the whatever Kage
The three most famous people ever taught Naruto. I don't think there's anyone more famous than these three, except maybe like Tsunade.
This.
Yeah but again it's not like anyone cared. Even people like Orochimaru knew who Jiraiya was training Naruto but had no interest in him.
That makes it even worse, because like I said, he's actually a royality and it makes him on higher social status, it's much like some destined prince was hidden from some evil doers who wanted to take over teh kingdom, he lived his life as shitty peasant, but one day realized he was actually a royality who was destined to rule the kingdom.
I'd have to disagree on that. I'd say it's more like the peasant who worked towards being the royalty people wanted him to be.
they purposely hid his heritage because a whole nation would have cared.
>If it had stayed that way i wonder how the story would have been like.
Should've just end the series with Naruto solved all his problems with sage mode and it wouldn't even be half as awkward.
Everyone has to work, but only few succeed because they where destined to succeed.
People didn't want him to be royality though, he become royality because he was destined to become royality.
It's like the whole point really, Neji wasn't about genes or status, it was about inability to change things as they are.
Did Naruto really end up living like royalty? The job as hokage is pretty tiring and his house doesn't seem all that fancy.
Kakashi is an example of hard work. Too bad he fell for the fucking Sharingan meme and it crippled the shit out of him as he used it as a crutch.
His father was Jiraya level and was just a normal ninja. If only Kakashi didn't receive that cursed eye and kept training normally.
The actual life of royality is like that.
And on top of that wasn't Naruto supposed to bring peace to the ninja world? There were moon people or some shit in the movie and apparently he's dead in the spin off manga.
Yes, but he was completely wrong about Naruto's destiny.
But Kakashi couldn't use chidori without his meme eye.
And is there anything that ever shows Kakashi's father as a badass? I just remember him being mentioned once that he committed seppuku and he told Kakashi to try not being a complete shit to Guy.
Yes.
Shame Neji did'nt do jack shit in shippuuden.
He was easilly the most powerfull genin besides Naruto and Sausage.
Yes, Kishimoto is so retarded that he ended up proving the character he wrote as the "wrong" one right in the end.
Sort of. There is a destiny, but as long as you survive long enough until the god who writes it changes you can get a new destiny.
he could've developed a better OC ninjitsu instead. like naruto's dad with his super speed shit, he didnt need no super eyes for that
his destiny caught up to him and rock lee
>series starts out as show about kid with nothing rising to prominence. Determination and the will to not give up is what really matters
>ends with the strongest characters, sauce and nard only being as strong as they are because they won the genetic lottery
>all the petty untermench shinobi essentially useless.
Sasuga Kishi
>while Neji did die protecting a Hyuuga main branch member he didn't do it cause of muh obligation to the main branch. He wanted his cousin to be with the man she loved since forever and wanted them to be together.
That's bullshit. It's house nigga mentality mixed with Kishi being unable to write romance. The point is Neji died doing what he was destined to do, his so-called choice was part of that destiny
No.Naruto was a fucking orphan.Regardless of your potential if you don't have the right people to guide you,you achieve nothing.Naruto had Iruka,Kakashi, the 3rd hokage(to some degree) and Jiraya to guide him.
Neji sealed off Narts chakra only for the fox to nullify that
Neji was literally fighting a 2 v 1
Yes.
Naruto was literally the reincarnation of the son of the son of an ayylmao, while Neji died a jobber to some wood spikes
>Be member of top clan
>talentless faggot
>trying and failing to git gud everyday
>cannot get with girl because super talented teammate is better
>FINALLY gets eye shit
>bouldered about a day later
>decides to give eye to team mate because no way to save
>discovered by homosexual old virgin man who implants his mancrush’s wood onto me while I’m unconscious
>eventually git gud but not only sees girl die but worst yet, discover that I see what teammate sees
>is forced to watch teammate fap to his fetish porn every time
>doesn’t even have the same fetish as him
Being Obito is suffering
>suffering
>killed Konan
Good.
Yes, plus him using Kurama's chakra to unblock his Tenketsu.
naruto only won because he had 9 tails chakra to leech on after neji BTFO out of him
Yes everything about Naruto had destiny involved. Becoming Hokage, his rival being Sasuke, getting Kurama. Fuck without Kurama he wouldn't even have won against Neji.
>Naruto had Iruka,Kakashi, the 3rd hokage(to some degree) and Jiraya to guide him.
All part of his destiny. Jiraya was even being told that his disciple would be the chosen one.
But his destiny was to die for the main family
>that Uchiha extermination scene that actually shows it all
Holy fuck. I've seen the Uchiha flashback a million times It feels like but since I jumped ship at the start of the war I am now just randomly seeing the actual scene with obito. That shit was fucking wild.
Rip
At least he wasn't mad about it because he already accepted it.
I wonder if they are ever gonna bring back Neji
HOLD UP
Why is Neji there???
