Honestly I can't see it being better than the manga. The best thing it could have going for it is supreme comedic timing. You obviously won't get all the character building and side stories that make us so attached to each character. I'd honestly be surprised if they manage to make the Anzu/Hobo arc or Anzu/Foster parents arc anywhere near as impactful if either of those are even in scope for production.
