Not that it's not an asspull, but Aizen did that on purpose so Ichigo would get stronger. It's just that Ichigo got way stronger than he expected. Mind you, he still needed to throw literally all of his power at Aizen at once, and even then Kisuke's seal was necessary because while he was beating up Aizen, Aizen was simply getting more and more powerful.

This isn't an asspull at all, though. It's not a power he just gets and can use nilly-willy, he has to train for it and if he uses it even once he will lose ALL of his power afterward. Mugetsu is fucking BROKEN as all hell, but the price is incredibly high.
The REAL asspull is that he somehow got his powers back anyway. Yes, it was explained, but it ruined a series that seemed to have a saving grace with an actually good ending carrying a series that was weak shit during every single arc save High School Ghost Busters and Rescue Rukia! and it only remained as big on Sup Forums because Kubo started going full retard and stopped giving a shit but utilizing it in a way that may or may not be intentionally so absurd that it's funny.

There is no such thing as an asspull. Shonen series are primarely about fighting stronger opponents. If the maincharacters wouldn't have some secret abilities that the reader doesn't know about then the power level of the enemies would have to be significantly lower so winning is an actual posibility with the current skillset. Nobody would actually cry about those "asspulls" if they were revealed before the fight and then they came in handy, instead they'd call the fight lame and predictable. So in order to make the fights more entertaining they decide to introduce this shit right when it's needed.
