Great news, Moare Ohta is still alive and making manga. Just 2 weeks ago a Parasyte spin-off manga by him started, guess the chapter he made 2 years ago for Neo Parasyte was well-received. There’re 3 chapters out so far for a total of 74 pages and I’m going to dump them all (40 files). These are just screenshots though, link to the manga
On another note, Teppu is having its 10th anniversary this year on the 7th of November. Can’t help but hope for some kind of good news related to Teppu or more good news related to the mangaka.

Teppu is my favorite manga so I'm very excited to see him back and seeing him still interested in making manga. Even though this isn't a new original series I'm still highly looking forward to it, just seeing how much he's improved as an artist makes me full of joy, love some of the art in this manga. Definitely would prefer a new original series over this, but I think this could turn out very good. It's also easy to tell that he's a fan of Parasyte (he talks a bit about this as well in Neo Kiseijuu) and from what I can tell it seem he will and is putting a good amount of effort and thought into this manga. I'd say there's kind of a negative connotation to the word "spin-off" since it means it isn't original, but that doesn't mean it can't become something great and become original in its own way.
I do. My issue is that I can't find any interest in it other than reading it for the author. Parasyte was good, but it's finished and I don't feel it need anything more (wasn't even interested enough to watch the anime). On the other hand, Teppu was incredibly refreshing, and I just want him to try to write something new, which could surprise me as much as Teppu did.
