I liked the first half of it, the beginning where Yoh solves people's trouble with Shaman ability and the first few stages of Shaman Fight, the America road trip was fun as fuck.
But after they go to generic island tournament things get stupid really fast. After that the powering up by dying thing was introduced and I dropped the manga.
