>your fists are arrogant, there isn't a spec of PURITY in the SELF righteous way you fight >trust and sacrifice are both pathetic and mean nothing, fighting for others is horseshit The anime is contradicting even itself, could anyone explain to me what the hell is happening down at Toei? I would say this is character assassination but this is beyond that. There are like 3 different Jirens in the franchise. Manga Jiren, Jiren before episode 127, and then Jiren afterwards. A Jiren that could tank UI with no damage, a Jiren that can't, a Jiren that can tank MUI with minimal damage (even before he powered up) and a POWERED UP Jiren that ended up getting rekt by MUI
And since when is Goku a man that gets is own power, spirit bomb aside, from others? Isn't this the same guy that was pissed off at the fact that he NEEDED others to unlock super saiyen God? All of a sudden he's now a "muh nakami" power sponge that relies on the power of FRIENDSHIP? Goku? The same saiyen that wanted to spare a psychopath just so he can brawl with him again? The same man that would even sacrifice his own son for the glory of "winning?" The same man that would kill a Kai just to get a good fight?
It's crazy to think that Jiren could've been a much better character without the effort of giving him a backstory. It felt like the anime had subtlely built him up to be a warrior that cares about honor and having an equal and good fight, which is why he held back. They could've had him as a strong fighter "just because" and it would've been much better than what we have now.
Where the hell did this, "strength forgives everything" Jiren come from? It was so out of left field.

I think Toriyama didn't even have an idea of Jiren's personality which is why he is so vastly different between versions.
Zachary Perry
Wow Toriyama is a senile hack now.
Who the fuck would have thought!? Not like people were posting such facts for over a decade, right?
Jace Gomez
Toei wanted Jiren to be like Toppo but Toriyama said “NO, turn him into a pssh nothing personnel kid” type of guy

>could anyone explain to me what the hell is happening down at Toei cocaine, cash grabs and low IQs
Jackson Robinson
The complaints about his lack of backstory in the first place was unbelievable, most antagonists in the db world hardly got a "backstory" from the very start; it happened later.
Funny you should mention how he wants a fair fight and holds back since he'd also be given crap for doing just that. Others thinking it would've been "so honorable and in character" for Jiren, Toppo, and Dyspo to btfo everyone at the very start. kek

They are parodying Saitama. Those are basically Saitama's catchphrase. He always say don't rely on others and only trust your own strength.
Connor Allen
Goku doesn't get power from his friends, he gets pissed when someone hurts them. Can't you even understand what you watch/read? He was like this since DB.
Anthony Wright
>goku doesn't get his power from his friends --- >Jiren, this is our power >our As of now, or if you also want to count ssjg, he does.
Sebastian Scott
It didn’t originate from Saitama lol
Josiah Price
>Goku doesn't get power from his friends, he gets pissed when someone hurts them. Differerent method, same thing. Besides, the Spirit Bomb exists so you would still be wrong regardless.
Nathaniel Allen
>Tien didn't get to do anything in the manga either Fuck Super.
>The anime treated Tien better than the manga did That's kind of sad
Jeremiah Robinson
Don't understand why they made him Vegeta but still talks about justice youtu.be/zsOx8y7J9-E
Jonathan Flores
How else are they going to justify Goku winning? Beating up the actual good guy?
Oliver Davis
They beat up multiple good guys and fucking sentenced them to death while doing so.
Christopher Collins
Ironic considering he needed other people's help to unlock his sealed away strength.
Isaiah Parker
>Krillin in the anime Weak pussy bitch who gets so shitty he actually gets hurt from bullets, >Krillin in FighterZ Becomes enraged at thinking Cell hurt his wife, actually fights him and wins.
>Tien in the anime BFTO immediately by Gohan and Roshi in his own recruitment episode, throws himself out when he didn't have to when a clone could have done the same job. >Tien in fighterz Cell respects him, Gotenks respects him,21 respects him.
Why did a random fighting game treat the humans better than their home series? Do you know how strange it is for somebody like Cell to respect someone weaker than he is?
Juan Bennett
Anyone have a link to the chapter?
Christopher Turner
>throws himself out when he didn't have to when a clone could have done the same job.
