because they’re always looking for ways to get attention so for ironic weebs even solitary activities like watching anime have to be turned into a social thing so they take a bunch of screenshots to show to people. Since they can’t pay attention to the anime they’re watching it probably means they don’t actually like it or are to simple and normal to watch anything other than entry level normgroid pandering bullshit like konosuba or dragon maid
