>MC is overweight and suicidal

>Wallowing in self pity he goes to the mini mart to buy beer and shit.

>On his way back he's knocked unconscious.

>Wakes up to several skateboarders over him telling him to wake up and apologizing.

>He starts to learn how to skate.

>Arcs are divided up into tricks and it's a sports, slice of life anime.

>26 episodes

An Isekai anime where the MC is an engineering student. MC discovers to his horror that this new world does not have maids, and makes it his task to make the industrial revolution happen by helping invent everything from the steam engine to railroads to the telegraph, so that the world gets Victorian aesthetics, and therefore, maids.

By the end, the town where the MC first started grew to be an economic superpower and the capital in the huge federation that united most of human countries on the planet, the Demon King's country stopped its conquest attempts because they became reliant on trade with the federation, the world is an utopian-ish steampunk society, and the MC got his maids.

tony hawk cameo or it's shit (tony hawk has to voice himself)

>Ecchi
dunno man

I was actually thinking skaters that other skaters would know as cameo/easter eggs.

Like the character that teaches the MC to impossible is a fake Dylan Reider.

>it's a straight forward isekai but entirely about skateboarding
>famous skaters are legendary heroes and spirits that can be summoned when your combo meter is high enough
>defeat the demon king by dunking on him

>boy
>wants to be a girl
This will sell millions.

A boy and girl fall in love on New Years Day but on the day of their anniversary, New Years Eve, they are both struck by a truck and die. The boy wakes up again on that day and soon finds that he and his lover are stuck in an inevitable and endless death cycle that ranges from assassination to planes falling from the sky.
After trying several times to stop the cycle, he soon decides to take his own life but then finds out that whenever he commits suicide, the day of the death cycle and the day he wakes up reverts back one day. He makes it his one and only goal to save his lover from the endless death cycle but is given an inconspicuous letter detailing that she is tied to the death cycle due to her love for him.

Knowing this, he realizes that he has to commit suicide 364 more times in order to prevent himself from ever getting into a relationship with his lover thus breaking the cycle.

But as he attempts to commit suicide when he gets this information, he realizes the challenge of having to overcome his lover who accidentally and intentionally saves him from suicide on countless occasions, thus causing the two of them to die from the death cycle and resetting the day's efforts.

I call it 364 Days with (You)

Interesting but what are the mechanics? I'm not expecting extreme detail but just generally. Is it a curse or magic or something? How did this happen?

Isekai where the MC turns into a girl

He tries to act like a guy most of the time, but girl hormones make him attracted to guys
Throughout the story he gives into bouts of horniness and goes full slut only to bounce back to normal

Eventually he accepts what he becomes and falls in love
That's when he runs into his reincarnated friend who's still a boy who gives him tons of shit and makes him feel terrible

Why can't we get a "boy becomes girl" story where the boy just straight up becomes a lesbian?

We can have the boy freak out over the fact that he (she) likes doing girly things after his (her) crush kept dragging him (her) out for clothes. But instead of fucking with his (her) mind, it makes the MC only fall in love more.

Then you can also end a series on a shot like pic related. What's not to like?

>Why can't we get a "boy becomes girl" story where the boy just straight up becomes a lesbian?

Because having a child and becoming a mother and loving your children is the dream

And what you described is a good amount of gender bender high school slice of life stories anyway. But they never end with anything definitive because the authors are unhappy anti-social guys who hate their lives and write GB as an escape from societal pressures on men

It's basically a generic isekai, but instead of some high school boy getting sucked in, it's a christmas cake.

Literally everything else is the same, down to the all-girl harem.

Gender ruins everything again. Why can't we just flip between boy and girl at the snap of a finger?
New idea: Ranma 1/2 sequel, Ranma 1/3

All the girls are finding guys and the christmas cake ends up with no one going after her

Even the older guy she tries to get near ends up with one of the younger girls

Eventually she ends up with a younger 15 year smaller old boy for some semi-shota action

Are you just dedicating this thread to crushing my yuri fantasies?

An otter is the best friend to a boy who flies a plane to deliver mail to some of the outer islands of Japan, until one day the plane hits a rough storm that sends it through the Bermuda Triangle, to an alternate universe where dogs have enslaved humanity.
Hijinks ensue as the otter has to make friends with dogs, repair the sea plane and rescue the kid before the hundred year portal closes.

Also, animals are intelligent and can talk and shit.

Gender bender is like 50% transgender fetish/escapism, and 50% comedy
Outside of that, it has almost 0 purpose in any story because it naturally means the person has to act unnatural, thus drawing the story to that fact they are gender bent

>japan
>bermuda triangle
otter needed a better map

sound like studio Ghibli tier

Don't worry, I'm sure a lightning mage in the new world can give her a few zaps to get her back to normal
That's a yes

>A boy and girl fall in love on New Years Day

Unable to confess, they're gifted by a deus ex machina with their phone numbers.

>transgender fetish/escapism
Isn't this literally always played for comedy tho

Goddamn it, user.

There is a novel already thats very similar. It's Release that Witch

cute girls/cute things but they're on a road trip. each episode is in a different town/location on the trip. same vibe as yuru camp.

Already a thing.

The popular ones, yeah. Less popular ones don't get popular because no one wants to read self pity

Two separate people who shared a complicated past ends up having an uncontrollable ability to revive. Whenever it happens, they wake up from where they previously died, and they only have vague memories of their deaths. In addition, they are both unable to physically age from their 17-year old selves, thus unable to die from old age.
Neither of them know that both of them are afflicted by a curse of immortality at some point in said past, but the mechanics behind it dictates that only one of them is allowed to live at any given time, which they mistakenly thought to be an uncontrollable ability to revive. At some point both of them realized the nature of their ability and sought a way to end it.

>man reincarnated as commoner girl in fantasy
>is really strong
>gets recruited by cute girl
>serves under her
>has lesbo fantasies with her
>ends up being stronger than benefactor
>has to pretend to be weaker so benefactor's rep isn't damaged
>gives up on lesbo fantasies due to divide between them since she has to lay low
>eventually accepts being a girl
>eventually accepts the dick into her new life
>about to get married
>learns benefactor actually wanted lesbo fantasy
>ends up highly conflicted
>both end up marrying the guy for strange dual wife/husband ending

I feel like there's potential for solid drama there. Too bad everyone is either full-on tumblr or full-on Sup Forums, and anything that tries to do anything will be flamed to death by both.

ultimately, as a plot point, the only application of gender bender that doesn't fit into tranny-escapism or fanservice would be "a man in a situation where they're forced to deal with reactions that a female would receive", but even that only works in certain situations. Fantasy is a good model since women in fantasy can do far less, thus forcing a man to deal with that perspective

I've read a few stories that basically just go for the "normal world but a single weird thing happens to the MC" approach, I think it could still work. Get deep into the psyche of the person - can even deconstruct the escapism idea a bit.

For example, play with the plot point of the MC being happy that they flipped genders - them thinking it's a blank cheque on a new life and etc. But things will not work out for them even in this world, forcing them to look hard on their life and why things are bad. This is leaning on the escapism aspect, but it has broader appeal in that it's an analogy for a lot of different things in life - from tropes like high school debuts, to even people who move to different countries. Push hard the lesson of "it's more important to change yourself than change the world", or something along those lines.

sounds like it still falls for the same issue
Being the opposite gender affects every single person to person interaction a character can have.
In comedy, they just ignore it and make fanservice jokes
In escapism, they tend to go into feelings about stuff.
Rarely do they deal with the perspective of "how does a man handle trying to achieve objectives while being treated as a woman". Like how that one game increases the difficulty of diplomacy if you pick a woman.

There's no 'small' change when gender is changed because your gender defines virtually everything about you to a large degree. That's what makes doing it as a serious concept so hard, thus resulting in most content being either quick fanservice or straight up trannybait

Well, you can't escape having at least a degree of that. What you propose is also worth exploring.

taiko anime about girls in a taiko drum club who beat the absolute fuck out of those drums while wearing happi and fundoshi

reverse isekai

to a degree
Basically you need to avoid the character introspectively diving into their sexuality or personal relationships too deeply. They can use sexuality and relationships to get what they want, and fanservice can be weaved in, but if they dive into those in their own mind, you'll end up with the Gender Bender trope being wish fulfillment porn instead of it being a character trait they deal with.

I'm not completely against wish fulfillment porn, but authors go full into it the moment they touch it and don't get out.

I mean really, if you suddenly were in a fantasy world as woman (who wasn't going to be raped brutally or get pregnant as soon as possible), then what would you do? Probably act the same, maybe mess with people acting like a slut, and deal with whatever. Other characters would react to that type of woman differently than other woman, and definitely different than men. Makes a much different dynamic, since the gender bent girl can react as a man to other men, but they can't react to her as a man since they see her as a woman.

Ultimately though, I don't think the plot point is interesting enough to people who could write a good story to ever be written. It will probably always fall into wish fulfillment or comedy routine. It's why stories have small parts or episodes were genders are bent before going back to normal. Though there was one anime where the MC became a girl and then later swapped bodies with a girl and it basically didn't do anything with it outside of a few jokes when it first happened. And he stayed like that for 70% of the anime. I can't find it, but it was some guy with a magic sword he gets in the first episode and a genie that follows him around. Ends up getting turned into a woman and taken to a castle as a vestal virgin sacrifice. Later he ends up swapping bodies with a girl, and I think his body goes to a monkey or something. He only returns to normal by the end and there was really no reason for any of it at all.

basically MC is totally useless
he gets isekai'd into life threatening situations and survives only because of dumb luck and plot armor

the other characters think this is some kind of blessing and that MC serves some kind of higher purpose so are willing to sacrifice themselves for him

but eventually he gets found out and is ostracized by his compatriots

but in due course they learn that their universe only exists because of him and if he were to give up and die they would cease to exist.

had me to the end. Last line was too haruhi for me
Replace it with "but in due course they learn that they need his plot armor to win" and you got me sold
Even better if at the end no one is really sure if the MC was being protected or not, or if it was all just coincidence.

>MC is an otaku NEET loser
>he is obsessed with this one battle harem show
>he likes this one girl who he dubs as the best girl
>and he absolutely despises this one girl who he calls the worst
>he shitposts about how much he hates her on 2ch all day
>one day he somehow wakes up in this shows universe with a battle academy invite in his hand
>it's the first episode
>knowing the show inside out, he makes it to the battle academy to enroll
>to his horror, everybody in the harem ignores/hates him since they all wants the harem MC's dick
>everybody except the worst girl

It won't be anything special, I really just want to create an adventure / growing up story about two brothers / best friends.

In a futuristic world where virtual worlds are common place and espers are as normal as anyone else, the story takes place in two separate worlds and tells the story of the two brothers of a large and powerful family.
The two brothers, both espers, one adopted and one part of the main bloodline were originally supposed to fight for power over the main seat in the family, however the two loved and respected each other more than anything else, so they gave up their positions so that they could stay best friends, with the adoptive brother vowing to protect the main family with his life and serve them forever.

The first story takes place in an elite school that seeks to train only the most powerful espers and successors to rich families. To do so, they put the students in an extremely dangerous environment wherein they have to fight each other each day similar to delinquent gangs controlling territory in towns. And when a "boss" is realized for a single school, they start to take over territory and fight other schools. The two brothers desire to prove their decision to work together was a better ideal for the family, so they seek to become the leaders of their school and attempt to take control of as many school zones as possible.
The second story takes place in a virtual world that boasts a 95% Realism Emphasis, the highest ever noted in the virtual world, which makes the world a prime candidate for investing in, making it one of, if not THE most popular virtual game ever created, which also means that massive corporations and families are scrambling to get a monopoly or at least a large share of the virtual world. After this is realized, the main head of the family, the brothers father, tasks the two with becoming powerful in the game to establish a decent standing for them in the virtual world as well to prove themselves.

>MC dies in a car accident
>Vague sleep, in an out of consciousness
>wakes up in a strange temple
>primitive world with magic and ruins of ancient civilization everywhere
>surroundings think he's a god-sent hero
>he thinks he was isekai'd
>Is actually just far distant future Earth, after an apocalypse sends humans back to the stone ages
>After dying, MC's body was given to science, and he was frozen, before being revived in the future, but kept on ice because no one wanted to take care of him.
>Woke up in temple that was actually the remains of the hospital that had his body.
>Magic is just nano-machines originally invented by for convenience via telekinesis.

CONT

The adoptive brothers Esper ability is a rare mix, in which he acquired the powers of both of his biological parents, the first, a Psychic Link power, which allows very base and minor psychic powers which include mental attacks, mental defenses and illusions, but most importantly, the Psychic Link power, which allows them to directly link with another person, if one can directly link with 100% compatibility on another host, they can borrow or giver their own powers to the other individual, and mentally communicate with them. The other is a basic strengthening ability that gets progressively stronger the more one uses it similar to adrenaline during combat, this includes taking damage.
The other brother has Elemental Esper Abilities, which allow him to use all four elements, and combine them to create other elements, however this requires incredible finesse and ability. An example of combining would be earth and water to manipulate wood, or fire and air to manipulate electricity. When someone possesses enough talent or skill, they can start to manipulate their elements even further to allow things like flying, or manipulation over weather, something rarely if ever seen.
Different people will have equally terrifying abilities, which is why Espers are highly regulated and sent to special schools.
The two brothers will have 100% mental compatibility with each other, allowing them to share their abilities with each other. Which only goes to show how much they care for each other.

CONT

The game world will be straight up High Fantasy mix with some Sci-Fi elements. And houses many normal fantasy type classes, however it also houses special and hidden classes as well as the ability to choose to play as your real life Esper, which starts off exceedingly weak, but can get to where you are in real life, or even stronger. The idea behind it is similar to most MMORPG's, with the exception that guilds will operate like massive armies. The two brothers will attempt to start their own Guilds and create an army, and buy cities and businesses.

Sorry for the long ass wall of text, anons.

After drawing a doujin about a girl with reality-warping powers, an artist suddenly drops through a portal that appears under his chair, and finds himself in a world inhabited by all the characters he's ever created, because Miss Reality Warper wanted to meet her creator. Because of the way things work between worlds, she can't send him back, however, he can still create by drawing. The ruling Council of Elders is composed of his earliest drawings, and because he created them in his childhood they're conservative and prudish, scared of cooties, which is totally at odds with the younger creations from his adult years.

Some dumb shinto comet with magical powers switches a boy and a girl from different time lines, boy drinks the girls sputum from 3 years ago so he can fondle her chest again, for some dumb reason they cant even look at the current date wow. Add in bunch of shitty av tier music and terrible singing with muh lonely atmosphere, normies will treat it as second coming.

>Teleported to empire similar to Russia in the early 20th century
>Because of the harsh agricultural society they had back then he goes full commie
>Starts underground Marxist faction
>Slowly gain the peasants and workers support
>Start harrassing the oppressors
>Oppressors retaliate
>fuck
>Sent to exile
>Commie faction still exists after crackdowns
>The empire goes to war with industrialised country with big army
>They do okay at the beginning, pushing back the enemies
>Get outproduced because they aren't industrialised
>The war starts taking a heavy toll on the population because government prioritised the war over them
>Starts losing the war
>The public blame the higher ups
>Famine + angry population + losing side of war = excellent opportunity for MC to return
>Returns, sparks revolution

Two best friends adventure in an extremely bizarre and high fantasy world. It'll be nothing terribly serious, it'll be more about their adventures, a few tad bits of comedy here and there, but mostly focus on their relationship. Every now and again it'll have some action and fightan arcs. One will be a lot like a delinquent, the other will be more relaxed and care free.
They have no real specifications, they both know some magic, some fightan, some magical crafting and knowledge. The over arching story is that they're looking for a magical artifact to cure a curse that results in death, one of the friends have. They've managed to stave it off with a very ancient and powerful artifact, but that's all it does, stave it off.
Despite the rather serious overarching story, it will be rather light hearted.

They'll take on odd jobs to pay for their adventures, from doing intense action oriented quests, to cleaning bars, to singing in bars.

The administrator of Earth is a loli goddess who wields the power of chaos. After World War II, she finds herself bored by the relatively calm Cold War and decides to take matters into her own hand.

By stealing an ancient artifact from the world of gods, she, as Truck-kun, personally sends chosen people into worlds ruled by other gods. Of course, if they manage to find a way back, which due to the cheats granted to them by the goddess, they usually do, they get a reward, a single artifact that they can keep to use in Earth. Reports of missing people returning suddenly to the place they were last seen with mystic artifacts and superpowers catch the governments' eyes. Within ten years of the first reported incident, countries all over the world have set up academies to train these people who have returned from another world.

In the meantime, the loli goddess is chased out of the world of gods and into Earth. During the ensuing battle, the stolen artifact is damaged, causing rifts to form amongst dimensions. Weak monsters from other worlds start to appear in Earth through the rifts and their number and strength only seem to increase over time. Still, the loli goddess seeks more chaos and continues to isekai people, contributing to the widening of the rifts.

In the year 2012, the rifts are so large that the demon lord of another world crossed over to Earth, in search of a new conquest. Science is unable to counter the magic of another world. It is up to those who returned from other worlds, Returners, to fight the demon lord and his army.

The MC attends a Returner Academy where a transfer student turns out to be the daughter of the demon lord taking over the body of a dead Returner from their world, his younger sister is a traumatised mess in a special class for dangerous Returners, his class has a cute catgirl childhood friend and the class monitress ironically is the loli goddess. A darker take on the high school battle harem genre.

Yappari OP wa faggot de gozaru

Set during the Satsuma Rebellion (1877), the story is told from the point of view of Emushi, a Toshiro Mifune lookalike fighting for the Satsuma Domain. An army of disaffected samurai, they fight to forestall the rapid modernization of Meiji Japan and restore their place in society. From far in the future, an ultra-nationalist group has been secretly sending people and supplies back to aid the cause of the samurai and ultimately change history in Imperial Japan's favor. This includes sending people like OP, a worthless NEET and notorious shitposter, to be canon fodder.
Emushi is assigned OP as a retainer, and to his surprise finds that OP is a cute girl. The truth quickly comes out, however, that OP is instead a very feminine trap. He also knows little to nothing about history and was expecting 19th century Japan to be an isekai-esque world of sorcery and video game mechanics. At any rate, the trap falls head over heels for Emushi, openly yearns for the cock, and regards all of the samurai's protestations as merely being "tsundere". Emushi for his part is secretly gay, but not gay enough to fuck this weirdo.
They go on adventures as the war unfolds in increasingly bizarre and anachronistic ways, due to other time travel shenanigans. OP is drawn as and voiced by a girl.

The story takes place in a world where males have been outlawed for 100+ years due to wars, etc. All children are born by artificial fertilization, and the population is 99+% female. The few males who are accidentally born are given hormones and surgery and raised as female.
The story centers on a group of young rebels born as boys who are out to reclaim their manhood. They have secret meeting at a remote cabin run by a rare 80+ year old natural male. They wear male clothing and read banned literature. A crisis occurs where men are needed, but socially forbidden, so they form a team of costumed and disguised "mahou shounen" who save the world from scary bugs, heavy things, etc.

A large group of kids who have known each other since childhood figure out they're powered individuals, also known as Espers. Espers are classified as criminals, terrorists or extremely dangerous individuals in this futuristic society and originally plan on hiding their powers until they're discovered and forced to go on the run.
It'll essentially be "The Runaways" except, you know, good.
They'll have a nerd, the chad, the stacy, the glasses chick, the delinquent couple and two best friends.
Nerd will have tech powers.
Chad will have fire powers.
Stacy will have glittery powers.
Glasses Chick will have Ice Powers.
Delinquent Couple will both be Strength users.
One of the best friends will be edgy as fuck, loathe everyone else and be secretly inlove with his friend. He'll have Metal Bat tier powers.
Other best friend will be happy go care free and have wind powers.

Mc is isekaied into a world entirely populated by other isekai victims.
Ostensively a fantasy kingdom it turns out anything that has been hit hit by a truck ends up here, so there are fragments of the real world everywhere (gabage cans, other trucks, corners of buildings, childhood pets etc)
Many of the isekai'd have lived in this world their whole lives having been hit by trucks as children.
They have developed their own culture based on there preconceptions of being isekai'd into a fantasy world and the harsh reality of actually being able to survive in this hostile world.

Naturally this environment leads to conflict.

It's just cute girls doing cute stuff with guns, so think like the first few episodes of Upotte !! but the characters are regular girls, not assault rifles. They'll do three-gun competitions, CMP-style shoots, IPSC type matches, and events like 500 meter long rifle & Biathlon, but use real rifles instead of some .22 pea shooter for Biathlon.

> Boy is seemingly a harem protagonist, but pines after this mysterious girl.
> At the end of episode 1, it turns out that he's a crossdresser. He dresses up as a girl and roams around at night.
> His best (male) friend ultimately falls in love with him.
> All hell breaks loose when the other girls realize he's not just gay, he's a crossdresser.
> Second half of the series is a social nightmare, as they do everything to destroy him out of sheer disgust.
> The series gets increasingly trippy, reflecting the main character's warped mental state.
> Every episode begins with the protagonist watching a film in a darkened cinema, but later we see his female self watching the film instead.
> At the end of 12 episodes and at least one attempted murder / suicide, the MC and his best friend walk out of the theatre. The other girls wave to them and greet them cheerfully, because in this world MC appears to actually be a girl.
> The ending is disturbingly ambiguous.

Isekai fucking ruined these threads

More than half the replies haven't even got isekai in them, user

This is literally just a less detailed version of the Russian revolution.

A broken man takes vengeance on the criminal underworld in a society rotting from the inside out, rife with corruption and terrible criminal activity void of all humanity with the aid of his best friend. We're never shown why the two have such utter hatred for the criminals until the very end, but there are clues here and there why and it is left up to the viewer to figure it out before the last episode.

All through out we're shown him getting ideas from his best and closest friend, the one who's been beside him in this gutter of a world his entire life on how to deal with the trash of society. And we're given clues, just minor hints that his best friend is just a figment of his imagination, dead weeks earlier after sacrificing himself to save his best friend. He doesn't realize his best friend has been dead all along, and he's just been talking to himself. He dies in a hail of gunfire killing those responsible for his friends death. The last scene is the two in a bar eating burgers and just talking, not really about anything, just talking like long time friends do.

MC is an average salaryman, but loses his job during a sudden economic crash. He has no relatives to help him and his landlord kicks him out after a while, forcing him to become homeless. While being a hobo and barely surviving, he is suddenly approached by aggressive hobos who try to threaten him into helping them steal from a store. He is saved by another hobo and brought to a trashy area filled with fellow hobos. The hobo reveals that homeless people have actually been divided in factions ever since the economic crash and that fights between factions are a common occurrence. Those that aren't hobos simply do not notice due to being too preoccupied with the crash. The hobo also suspects that some shady figure is behind the faction split and reveals that he's the village leader and wants to reunite the homeless together since they are all equally miserable. He asks for MC's aid and offers him a place to stay in exchange. MC knows almost nothing about how to live as a homeless person, so he reluctantly accepts.

Things then get wackier as the series starts to focus on battles. MC encounters various hobos from different factions and gains their trust while also learning new hobocentric attacks. For example, he learns how to tame wild dogs and how to use common trash as a weapon. His allies also have unique ability gimmicks that are parodies of real life hobos and gutter punks. For example, one character could carry an entire zoo around similar to how gutter punks usually own large dogs and constantly travel with them. These characters would be the side characters and they would have different motivations for becoming homeless.

Eventually it's revealed that the one behind the faction split is a banker who lost his wealth due to the crash. However, instead of giving up, he decided to rile up the homeless population and get money from their exploits to invest into stocks and regain his former wealth.

Please put title's on your stories.
Isekai's tends to have super long titles!!! Lets see who can give their stories the cringiest/chuni titles imaginable!!!

Simoun 2.0: Magical Boy Boogaloo

The hobos decide to fight him, but the banker has already enlisted help from the strongest hobos in town and promised to give them a fat share of his earnings after his reached his objective. Knowing that they are too weak and poor to defeat and convince the hobos, the main characters split up and a minor timeskip happens. The remaining hobos think that the main cast has abandoned them, but they return and their hobo abilities have greatly increased. They revealed that they all went their separate ways and used the timeskip to train. They trained their hobo ways by travelling to the poorest countries in the world, such as Africa or India where they lived as homeless in dire conditions, undergoing the equivalent of hellish training. With their newfound skills, they challenge the banker's hobos to a chaotic fight which thankfully ends with their victory. The banker's plan is revealed to all and hobos refuse to support him, causing him to hide away in shame. The factions then stop existing and the homeless all stay together as one compact group. The economic crash also dissipates, allowing some to finally find a way to escape from homelessness. MC himself manages to land a new job and although he is richer in both wealth and spirit, he will never forget his homeless friends for the rest of his life.

END

>rather than a Fate/stay night death bowl of 1v1 fighting, it's a summoning of different famous strategic and tactical advisers throughout history under one leader

>goal is to win the wargames through political, militaristic, and industrial means

>definition of "winning" is subject to interpretation of God, but the players don't know that

>basically Civ in an anime, except rather than just an influential leader, you can have Ghandi and Patton acting as advisers under Charlemagne

>World Peace, Domination, etc. all suitable ways to win

Idk I've just always wanted something like Fate where I see historical characters, but they have to think their way out of a situation rather than fighting their way out.

Code Geass is probably the closest I've seen

What title would you give to that type of story?!!

idk, "Wargames"?

>Business student makes it out of college and looks for a job.
>He has some very innovative ideas about how to profit from trade and market psychology/manipulation
>He tries to apply to businesses and show them his knowledge but with his pride and ability he refuses to take menial starting jobs
>Can't find anything good, he falls asleep at the computer desk while job-searching
>Wakes up in a medieval world
>Does regular isekai things and tries to woo a princess.
>His day goes extremely poorly, he gets scoffed at, mugged, and even loses all his objects from present day.
>First episode ends with him looking for a caravan to get out of town
>He finds an elderly wagon owner down on his luck.
>Overbought on some commodities that he found out this town actually had in abundance
>Refuses to sell the commodity at a loss
>Our business major decides instead to use his knowledge of finance to use the commodities as collateral at a bank, runs arbitrage between different banks at different rates in the village, and trades at auctions in the marketplace.
>He makes enough money to get the caravaner out of the village to find a town in greater demand of the shipment and makes the elderly man lots of money
>the series progresses with several successful trades based on the trader's modern knowledge
>series picks up when his modern perspective bites him in the ass
>people from the middle ages will send hitmen (like armed spellmages) on you just because they don't like the results of a contract (no reason for them to always play fair)
>different nations with politics and wars will raid you, embargo you, and forbid entrance to cities
>magic plays a huge role in the world and the trader must quickly gain a perspective/understanding of it
>it's very very easy to die in an undeveloped world
>series pick up even more when mc realizes that he has become quite wealthy and influential and his trades actually have a great impact on the world

>mc realizes that his decisions can end a famine, create infrastructure, or even finance a genocide/massacre of a fantasy race
>now mc has the longterm goal of helping the commoners through his business dealings
>only influential mages guilds, trade guilds, warring nations, noble houses, dysentery/occasional dwindling supplies, and esoteric medieval laws stand in his way

Replace elderly merchant man with dumb/cute heiress to family fortune for necessary fanservice
>several of his hired advisors can be cute girls as well.
>obligatory reluctant hiring of a trap who is actually very effective/knowledgable for humor

"Why Is My Isekai Adventure Just Summoning Crazy Chuuni Schoolgirls From Other Dimensions?"

An anime fanboy but otherwise normal Japanese highschool student discovers he has a strange ability when he is confronted by a magical beast from another world. He summons to his aid... a rather normal looking schoolgirl, who proceeds to speechify in a flowery, kind of crazy way before she busts out a giant dragon of black lightning to obliterate the beast. As the boy talks to her, he soon realizes she's completely nuts; an utter chuunibyou case, she never had any powers before. But now, thanks to him summoning her to his world, she has gained magic abilities matching her delusions.

Over the course of the show he summons a combat harem of deluded crazy schoolgirls who inherit magical powers thanks to being summoned by him. The final battle with the summoner of the magical beasts reveals the truth the boy is secretly from another world, it's why he's being targeted. Season 2 will feature the boy and his harem returning to his home dimension and exploring it for his real parents.

10/10 point for that title, would read if its real then drop it when it starts becomming harem shit and when plot is on the heroine's chesticles!!!!!
