post-episode 12 manga translation. vol.5 ch.24
I'm learning Japanese since few months ago, and wanted to test my progress by translating Yuru Camp
I guess it won't be hurt to share here. It will be pretty rough, but I will try anyway.
Please give correction if you can.

"Hmm.. right here is..."
"this side is Mochizuki-san, and the back side is Takano-san"
"Send to Kobayashi-san right here"
"Check the address carefully to make sure there is no mistake"
"Good work there, it's quite cold isn't it?"
"Good morning! yeah it's really cold"
"Ah, wait a second"
"Here, take it!"
"Thank you very much!!"
"Youngster delivering letter is so December isn't it?" (HELP!)
"Ganbatte!"
"Hai!"
:)
Chapter 24: Working in December, everybody else is on holiday
"Good work desu"
"Aah, good work"
"You are so early, Kagamihara-san"
"Are you accustomed to this job already?"
"Super accustomed!"
"You are so full of energy~ well then, I'm counting on you for the afternoon"
"Sure!!"
"Ooooi"
"Ah! Ena-chan"
"Good work~"
"You too~"
"Well then, shall we go for lunch?"
"That would be nice~"
"Stew?
"Yep, 2nd day of Stew~"
"Nadeshiko-chan, you made a lot of food huh?"
"You can't get the job done with empty stomach!!"
"Through the Dark Lord, Amen."
"Ena-chan, how is your desk job?"
"I'm Alwa~ys staring at the name and address"
"Oh..."
"Sometimes the address is written in Kanji, but..."
"Sometimes it becomes clusterfuck that anons can clearly see in that panel and it's hard to understand"
"And there are shitty writings that I can't read" (I also can't read many Kanji ena-san)
"Ah, I understand how you feel"
"But then, it's pretty warm inside, so I'm fine with it"
"Is that so?"
"How about you? good?"
"Yep, I'm already accustomed to it"
"I'm cycling and walking all the time, so it's not so cold"
"Today, when I'm delivering, someone gave me a bottle of tea"
"Pretty good stuff right?"
"And then on the way, I met a puppy Shiba Inu inside a dog house"
"That puppy looks so cute, it's like it's looking forward to the delivery"
"heee~"
"I'm glad that you are doing alright"
"Yep!"
"It's a short part-time job and I want to do my best to earn some good shit cash money"
"Do you have something that you want to buy with that money?"
"Yeah there is, wait, let me show you..."
"This! I found this Gas Lamp!"
"It looks retro and cute!"
Based user. Thank you so much.
"Heee, this looks nice"
"By the way, after I went home from the last camp, I've been watching this video
"on Yo*tube?"
"Yea"
"There was a lot of various camping gears"
"I just can't stop browsing because of it"
"Oooh"
"I looked into different kind of tents"
"Yep yep"
"Nadeshiko-chan, do you know about a tent that can be used even in snow?"
"Snow? Tent with thick material is warm... is it?
"Apparently you need to use a tent that has air ventilation attached on it"
"Let me tell you about this scary stuff"
"Eh? what's the scary stuff?"
*If you are using the usual tent during the snow and it's piling on the gap between your tent and the ground, there won't be any ventilation and you will be lacking oxygen*
*That's why, to prevent that, mountain tents have an air ventilation attached on it in case it's snowing*
"Uwaa, is that real? snow is really scary huh?
"I know, right?"
"But after browsing around, I really want to buy tent like that"
"I might buy it after this part-time job"
"Oh! that's why you are always here!"
"No no, I'm still going home you know"
"Oh right, how about going to Walmart on the way home?"
"That shop near the station?"
"Yes yes it's around that area"
"They sell a lot of stuff you know~"
"Sounds good~"
"Once you see the real thing, you will want to buy it more and more!"
"Whisper from devil!"
"Well, it's time to go back"
"Oh right"
"Yosh! My stomach is filled now!"
"Time to do my best in the afternoon!"
"Hey hey, how about buying some Manju on the way back?"
"Nadeshiko-chan... your stomach is really something else..."
*sigh*
"Good work, Nadeshiko- how is the work?"
"Good work (-V-) I'm used to it already, how about you? busy?"
"SUPER BUSY!"
"I'm always full-time working selling alcohol for new year holiday"
"I need to do finish all my homework when Winter holiday is almost over"
"Since we both have no break, let's do our best!"
"Eh? But I have 2 or 3 days of break"
"Say what!?"
"And I have 3 to 4 days break"
Nice, and thanks. I dont know moon to comment on the translation though.
"I will take 3 days break since it's new year"
"I will be having 4 days break since 31 December"
"What are you guys going to do for holiday?"
"I'm going to sleep until noon and then going for hatsumode with Chikuwa"
"And I guess going to shopping center too"
"As for me, I'm going to Takayama to visit my relative's house with my family"
"Sounds good, Hidatakayama" *kankou.city.takayama.lg.jp
"Ah, isn't Takayama the one where there is this famous beef-sushi?"
"I eat that every year (*-ワ-*)"
"Real good shit right there, sliced beef! (*>u
"If its Lake Hamana, are you going to eat eel?"
"Uhehe, there is a delicious eel shop nearby, maam!"
"It's Nadeshiko-chan's eel!"
"I'm going for solo camp again"
"I haven't decided the location yet, but I'm thinking about Izu's Sea"
"Izu camp!! sounds good~"
"Izu is really warm and nice~"
"I'm thinking about going to watch the first sunrise by the sea"
"Sea sunrise is really beautiful for sure~"
"Speaking of Izu, I saw it on TV, it seems like the McBurgerKing there is really delicious"
"Hee... I wonder if I should go there"
"And this also..."
"Too overwhelming... I'm the only one with no free time!!!"
"WHY!? This winter holiday is killing me!!!"
"Chiaki (not Ohgaki!?) do you want food as a souvernir?"
"Eh?"
"Aki, what do you want me to buy for you?"
"I will buy you some eel Aki-chan!"
"Y..."
"You guys...."
"ALRIGHT! Leave Minobu (their town) to me while you guys are away!"
"I will be waiting for you guys (your souvernirs) to come back!"
*tap*
"We are busy, so don't slack off"
"I'm sorry"
"Welcome!"
"Izu Izu"
"Zui Zui"
"Izu"
TL Note: Izu x36
"Should I go to West Izu through Numazu?"
"Should I go through the city or going around it?"
"No no, Should I cross through Amagi?"
"Going to South Izu is also not bad..."
TL note: bunch of places around Izu
"Uhh it's difficult to decide"
"Excuse me, I want to buy this please"
"That's 780 Yen please"
"Thank you very much"
"Soba huh?"
"I'm leaving for camping on 31st, should I buy this soba?"
"I ate too much on christmas camp"
"I'm getting fat"
"Good work! Be careful on the way home!"
"Likewise"
"When I think about it, why do people eat Soba on the new year eve anyway?"
*Edo Period's new year eve soba*
*Wishing that next year this country will be great as always and free from trouble*
*Eating thin and tender soba just before the new year eve*
"Naruhodo..."
"New year eve Soba is really meaningful"
"I think I heard about that somewhere before"
"乾麺はゆで汁が出るから"
"Since I'm making it outside, maybe boiled instant noodle is good?"
I honestly have no idea what Rin says here, basically thinking about what kind of noodle to make
"In that case, doesn't Soumen meet your criteria?"
"Not bad isn't it?"
"That might be okay"
"I like nyuumen"
"Me too, It's nice to eat when you catch a cold"
"I know, right?"
"This is beyond the national barrier, Capellini!!
"How about something like that?"
"Then how about Bihun? It's thin and easy to eat" en.wikipedia.org
"New year bihun!!"
"Bihun is good, but I like Pho more" *viet stuff
"New year pho!"
"Without the parsley please!"
"I feel like eating noodle now"
"Did you see the new year udon ad?"
"I saw it"
"New year Harusame!" *google
"New year Tokoroten!" *google
"New year Ogura gween tea cream strawberry yamamori pasta!"
"Oeee"
"I remember something about Udon"
"Gunma's Himokawa udon and the dark udon Youkai"
"Kyaaa scary!!"
"Kyaa!"
"Oh, you are going to Izu this time?"
"Then go through Numazu's seaside"
"You can go through Hida here"
"You can see a beautiful view of the coast from up there"
"Scenery from the West Izu Skyline is beautiful and easy to follow through"
"Hee"
"But it's a new year. I wonder if Izu is going to get crowded? A lot of people from Tokyo will also be there after all"
"Uh, I hate that"
"If you want to got sea, how about Omaezaki?"
"You can see a beautiful view from the peak of Lighthouse"
"Omaezaki huh?"
"Be careful to not get into an accident, I'm worried about that"
"Don't worry, I can't go too fast anyway since there are a lot of cars"
>this dude fucked Rin's mom
"Ah, Solid Snake will be back on 3rd. Will you be back home that day?"
"Yeah, don't worry"
"He is looking forward to see you"
"Yeah"
"Well then, now that I changed my destination from Izu to Omaezaki"
"Where can I go camp there..."
"Oh!"
"It's near the lighthouse!!"
"Wait... it's closed!?"
"Ugh... other campgrounds are all near mountain"
"I want to see the first sunrise, so I hope I can find seaside location"
"It's quite far away, but there is a campground in Iwata!"
"Is it open in the winter? it's open all year long! I'm going there!"
"Hmm? Iwata?"
*there was a ghost monkey villain that torments Iwata's villagers*
*Then this boy Hayatarou came to discipline him*
"Iwata... Hayatarou...Search..."
Lucky guy.
*At Mitsuke Tenjin Shrine, Iwata City, spiritual dog Shippeitarou is a revered being"
*At Komagane, this Shippeitarou or Spirit Dog Hayatarou's name became really popular*
"Heee"
*And now at Mitsuke Tenjin Shrine, the third generation Shippeitarou is actually being kept as a pet*
*I want to meet him... spirit dog*
"Yosh! Time to visit dog shrine again"

*Himokawa~ Himokawa~*

Forget about some hundreds of advance kanji that I haven't learned yet, I feel like my basic grammar understanding become worse. I can get the idea of the sentences, but translating it in detail is far harder than I thought.
I feel like Japanese is getting more and more clusterfuck the more I learn about it.
Thanks.
>I feel like Japanese is getting more and more clusterfuck the more I learn about it.
I guess thats why translated lines feeling like a rewrite is common then.
Mind if I just drop these?
BD release event with seyana seiyuu?
Oh I apologize, didnt't realize for more general Yurucamp on the other thread
I wish I didn't leave on Monday, I want the buy the BD so bad to give C-Station my support.
>baby who started learning moon literal months ago translating shit
You really should kill yourself
I said earlier it's a practice to test my learning progress. I'd appreciate if you can give feedback.
I think you need to learn English first.
>Tfw you read all these in their voices
It hurts
Thank you very much, user!
Shit-eaters like you who drive away anything that isn't perfect and up to their standards are the reason OC is few and far between these days. Piss off to 9gag you cunt.
Thanks OP.
The Japanese in the manga is easier to understand than OP's English and I'm only N2 while being a native English speaker.
Thanks
You translate it then. Or give OP actual feedback on how to improve other than "lol kill urself"
I did. I told him to learn English first.
>"Through the Dark Lord, Amen."
>"Sometimes it becomes clusterfuck that anons can clearly see in that panel and it's hard to understand"
Are you aspiring to be a Commie translator? Doing pretty good, friend.
Newfriends like you should learn about the word elitism and not eat garbage. This manga has the simplest japanese words ever and you should feel ashamed that you can't even read it, to the point of being necessary someone who has been "learning" japanese for 6 months or so to do it even.
Yeah, this manga is not hard to understand, but just as you said, my English is not native level. It's just hard to find the equivalent of the sentence and make it smooth. The result is probably going to be the same awkward-to-read stuff If I were to translate this into my native language. There is big difficulty gap in reading and translating.
lol I'm not going to be translator, I'm just trying to find a fun way to practice. It's been 3-4 months since I started learning moon and I need more useful book besides Genki.
You're kidding, right? Perhaps he doesn't know way too much jap and yes, it's not perfect, but at least is something, which it's better than nothing. If you want to prove him wrong, do something, translate a few chapters and then comeback and show off about your japanese skills but not before, you dickhead.
>being this bitter
What happend did you not find enough butter in the fridge today?
