Because it's a fucking massive timesink with very little payoff unless you either manage to git gud with a 5 stack or don't care about winning.
I literally just play All Random nowadays because while I enjoy the mechanics of playing Dota, everything around it (the players, the meta, MMR in general) is meaningless
