Does Sup Forums own any particularly rare or valuable games and accessories?

Does Sup Forums own any particularly rare or valuable games and accessories?

I have a copy of Zelda on NES, which is RARE GOLD RETRO L@@K $3000 according to eBay.

This is my only one.

not really i dont think any game is worth over $100

I have pso1&2 plus on gamecube and a broadband adapter. I've never used it online though.

Front pic.

I have team buddies. a guy I know collects games and keeps asking me for it every time I see him

I have the original box/manual for my copy of Pokemon Emerald. Is that considered rare?

>bought Goldeneye for $15 in 2011
>now worth twice that for some reason
I'm a little mad

I have Xenoblade and the steelbook Metroid Prime trilogy.

I guess Melee is considered rare too nowadays.

Pokémon games aren't rare, since tons of them were sold, but boxed+manual goes for a decent chunk of change. They're sought after and pretty easy to sell, a fairly liquid commodity.

Metroid Prime trilogy, Unopened Halo reach legendary edition.

recently found this

How much?

Wait, can you still use it online?

100$ along with 3 other games

The closest thing I have to a rare game is Chrono Trigger in the box with the manual. I have a few semi-valuable games like Contra, Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, etc, but nothing too crazy. I just buy what I like. I'd love to get a copy of EarthBound someday if the price ever drops below $100 (won't happen).

Weebshit. The strap is the only good thing and I already had it from the JP LE. Part of me says sell it for quick cash, but it will always be a great memento of being 2fast5you and Yuropoor tears.

What could pawssibly go wrong?

Shiiit. I could never get in the mindset to spend that much.

It's still possible to get earthbound for around $50 if you diligently keep track of ebay listings.

Understandable, I used to collect Neo-Geo and buy Arcade Machines every now and then, so this isn't much to me in comparison

Private servers.

Nothing too rare. Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy III, PSO+, Path of Radiance, and Final Fantasy with the box and all the inserts.

Hold onto those a few more years, the prices still have room to inflate.

>$60 for a modern game
>$100 for rare and very good retro game with 3 other games is too much
???

Good to know but I don't have any intention to ever sell

Yeah, this.
Also FFVI for the GBA which seems to be pretty rare

For a game that's over 20 years old and easy to emulate, yes.

just gotta hope you don't get a counterfeit copy

If you do, you can send a claim to ebay and get your money back.

>nisashit
>rare

I've got this.

I also have this.

only 10k exist in the world

I bought these several years ago. Fucking Little Samson is like 800 now and I don't even know why. I have more but I think these are the most valuable.

You could toss that Little Samson cart into a blender and hipsters would still pay $600 to snort that dust.

i have the PAL version of panzer dragoon saga and a bunch of other saturn games that cost millions now

there was a nepshit game Special Edition you could only get only get online for a limited time that is worth a bunch right now. Forget which one I just remember seeing someone find one in a Half Price Books on a thrifting vid.

only the last part is worth anything every other part is just 20-30 at best

None of the nepshit is rare.

>The state of that box

is there anyway to open those types of boxes safely?

there is literally nothing wrong with that box, its a reflection on the plastic you dumb fuck.

I fucking hate the retro collecting fanbase so much sometimes. I hope that guy that has a shipping box of most of the rare NES games opens them so they can all drop in value and fuck with their "investments"

>BUT I WAS TRYING TO RETIRE WITH THIS STADIUM EVENTS NA CART

I own Virtua Racer for the genesis

Maybe not rare, but it's the only game for that system that used that sega virtua processor

God bless that guy, can't wait for the price to tank

Wew

Rule of Rose on PS2.

Luciennes Quest on 3DO.

Thats it.

>want to buy alisia dragoon since it looks fun
>no one has it for cheap

It wasn't that long ago that every single genesis game was less than $10, what happened? Speedrunners?

>Some retard lists an items for a retarded price
>this means the item is actually worth that price

Okay re-re. I guess that means that the empty box of bajo kazooie i listed for 200 dollars is actually worth that much.

>using amazon to gauge prices
They literally had a plain old Zelda NES cart for $3000 not that long ago.

WEW

>Earthbound cartridge only is up to $200

Huh. Do I cash in or keep waiting, Sup Forums?

The problem is that shit listings like those inflate the value regardless of the game selling or not.

>retards keep listing stupid shit for retarded prices
>you cant stop being a retard and actually think they're worth that much

Pro tip dipshit; they're not worth that much, as proven by the fact that no one is buying them.

Fucking morose motherfucker i swear.

this desu baka senpai

Collecting retro got mainstream cool again in the last 5 years or so. Fucking GUITAR HERO is sought after now. Remember when those fucking littered clearance bins everywhere. Well now now they are worth something and sought after especially if the accessory is linked to a band like the Beatles or something.

Strange world. Also this has infected stuff as recent as Gamecube/PS2/Xbox. Wantto find a copy of either of Ike's Fire Emblem games since the fanbase has grown sicne then? Good fucking luck the game didn't sell well back then. Want some horror PS2 games? Shell out.

Value is based of what people are willing to pay.

Guess what retardo, people arent willing to pay the retarded prices you dipshit weebshits keep listing that kusoge for.

>Fucking GUITAR HERO is sought after now
I'm kind of glad. It was the only game I ever got really good at.

thank god for PSN and emulation

ain't no way I'm finding a copy of god hand or haunting ground

I realize haunting ground isn't on the NA PSN store but I bought it on the Japanese one.

yeah

Question:

I know AGDQ and the like don't allow for emulators, but what about flashcarts?

Are they that anal or do they expect people to shell out sometimes hundreds of dollars if they want to run a game?

None of that is valuable nor rare kiddo.

shit man God Hand ain't that pricehungry. Only 40 burgerbucks averaging on Price Charting. Though that might just be due to the rerelease on PSN.

I don't know, Double Dash and Pokemon Box fetch a pretty penny.

not the same guy but most of it is liquid assets. Most first party nintendo shit holds it's value and could rise over time like Fire emblem for example.

I've never seen so much worthless casual shit crammed packed in a shelve in all my life. and this isn't photoshopped right? I'd give you credit for the metroid prime but you fucking ruined it by owning two copies of the game in a lame ass attempt to make it look like you got a bigger library. As I type this I see two super marios bros wii u. Are you autistic? I'm not trying to give you a hard time I want to respect you and all but you don't even have the shitty black ops port but you're cool with multiple sonic and pokemon games. Bad form Peter, bad form.

Dokapon Kingdom on Wii is rare.

Someone who wants to run a game very likely already owns that game

As far as I know, the most expensive games I own are Paper Mario and Paper Mario: TTYD.

plz no bully

I think this is the rarest game I own

I hate JRPGs

every pokemon rpg factory sealed

The rarest thing I can think of is my Secret of Mana cartridge for SNES.

>no Green
