it's a glorified plug and play like coleco and those fuckers used to do

and it will make money as well, because nintendo fans will literally buy anything

Just imagine them releasing expansions for it at $10 or whatever rather than only making $60 one-off. All it needed was a card slot.

I didn't even know there were 30 games worth playing on the NES. Also bear in mind that Nintendo can't distribute games they don't own and all the ones they do are already packed in, so even if they set up an online store or something for it what would they sell on it?

1. In general, businesses generally don't turn down easy low-effort money
2. There are 92 NES games on Virtual Console.in the US already
3. IF THEY SOLD "CARTRIDGES", IT WOULD BE THE EXACT SAME BUSINESS MODEL AS CONSOLES THAT NINTENDO HAVE BEEN USING SINCE THE ORIGINAL NES

I think it's a pretty cool product, it's just a shame it's quite so limited.

I don't doubt they'll implement a similiar system when they release the next one.

You bitch about anything, don't buy it.

Nah, that would be too confusing to customers. Maybe when this is a hit and they release a SNES version.

And then a 64 one and all will be great.
