My experience in EDF4 was that I shouldn't use fencer until a certain point.

But my personal feelings are I will be using fencer for 4.1 right off the bat and just grit my teeth as I try to get my sensitivity set right so I can do boost melee hits on the fly.

You really just need a shield, then you can start wavedashing.

Oh, just a fyi because I didn't know this at first either.

When you're playing online, it doesn't matter who picks up what box or armor or weapons, at the end of the game, everyone gets whatever was picked up. Usually you would leave one enemy alive and have the Wingdiver go around and pick everything up at the end of a level.

So don't get your panties in a wad if someone jumps on a item before you.

The definitive EDF game thus far. I wouldn't say it invalidates EDF2 (mainly because 4.1 isn't portable) but it's definitely amazing
