Marvel Ultimate alliance 1 and 2 are coming to PS4/Xbone and PC this Tuesday.

Are they good? Ive never played the series.

Isn't this already on the pc? I don't recall if I palyed on my 360 or pc

First game was on PC. don't think the 2nd was (but it was developed, it just never saw release)

So is this a remaster, or HD version, or what?

>Are they good? Ive never played the series.

They haven't aged particularly well, but I did enjoy them as a kid, just good simple co-op fun along the lines of the Dark Alliance or Champions of Norrath games.

UA1 is really good. I never got a chance to play UA2 but I heard it was also good just not as good as 1.

Seriously?
I thought they were shit.

MUA is great, MUA2 is still decent but would have been better if they had created another original story instead of adapting Civil War (it is better than the comic, though).

...

So this indie-tier thrash Diablo wannabe deserves to be ported to PS4, according to you?

>You will never play as Link or Samus

First one has a far more interesting boss lineup, but I've only played the second.

Very fun games, great for local co-op

But Diablo is already on PC & next gen consoles

Well someone thought there is a huge unsatisfied clownsuit audience on PS4, and D3 armor is not clown enough.

1 is pretty good and better story than Marvel movies (imo). 2 is shit

Why?
I honestly don't see what warrants a remaster of a ten year old game

I wish they'd do it for Xmen Legends

UA1 is great with friends, I never got around to UA2.

Because we are lacking in solid gauntlet-styled beat em ups.

I just want a new one with more heroes and not just a online mmo as we have now

>$60 for decade old games

Fuck no.

They're actually full price?
Shit, I was going to get this if it was like 20 bucks.

$39.99 each or $59.99 for both.

MUA taught me nearly everything there is to know about Marvel and put in a shitload of characters very brilliantly.

Too bad I already forgot a lot of stuff. Made me a total Marvel fanboy as a teen.

I wonder if marvel will let Capcom make an MvC 4 now that disney infinitey is dead and gone.

Is this physical?

Does it have online?

Does it have all the DLC? It got removed from the games originally (right?) which made me sad.

Is it just a port? Any graphical updates? Will we have access to all of the characters this time?

Fucking boring if you play alone, fun if you play with friends

UA1 is so good. It has replay value.

Nobody has a link to the old brady strategy guides ? I kinda want to replay them and 100% them with my friends.

>the first game came out before marvel cinematic universe was a thing among normalfags
Good times.

I downloaded the second one from some internet site a few months ago. It seems really bad. Spiderman friend or foe was better, and even that is a pretty bad game.

>modular design with multiple overreaching campaigns and hard level limits ala Neverwinter Nights(most of the convos are text only so it would cost pennies and could be sold at that price too. They could just adapt stories from old Ditko era comics. Hell, even the opening and ending cinematics could be just stylish comic panels with Stan Lee narrating over them)
>Gameplay embraces the arcade style. Fully destructible environments if you are Hulk Tier. Can pick up guns, lamps, crowbars, etc lying around for improvised weapon combat. You can only control a single character but can be joined by up to four players either via local multiplayer(rip) or online multiplayer
>level progression is slow but GURPS levels of detailed. It's very possible to fuck up a build but you just switch to another character and make a better build. You can respec at the start of each minicampaign, or save profiles to load up a certain build quickly
>levels are 3D, heroes move and jump at their own rates and you have a certain amount of invulnerability while jumping to simulate how much acrobatics go in the comics.
>enemy density is musou like, but with some puzzle areas you can solve with inherent super abilities or gizmos to spice it up
>since level resets to campaign limits, actual progression is in terms of gear. Gizmos, contraptions, weapons, suits and all that gives the player a sense of accomplishment and progression. Some ultimate campaigns are made with fully equipped 4 player teams in mind.

Such a game will never be made.

>Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 will launch digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this Tuesday, July 26, Marvel announced during its gaming panel at Comic-Con in San Diego. They’ll cost $39.99 each or $59.99 together.
>They’ll cost $39.99 each or $59.99 together.
>39.99 each
>59.99 together
>Activision
lmao
and it's not even confirmed to have all DLC characters in it at the very least for that price

Pretty cool, always wanted to play the first one but it's quite hard to track down for a legit price where I live.
