This is becoming me. Most of my friends have grown out of it. Two of my friends built PCs for two grand and neither of them play games anymore. I'm ok with it as my vidya taste has grown more and more to the single player side over the years. but it would be fun to shoot the shit with more people besides a few buddies in Discord.

i'm 26 and video games are the only thing that make me feel good. i don't know what age you're supposed to "grow out" of them but perhaps you never really liked them to begin with.

I've recently had this issue. I've played Battlefleet Gothic and Stellaris, but neither really gave me the fix I'm after. I need a good space game, and I know that No Man's Meme is not going to be it.

There's a real lack of decent games at the moment, or in the near future. Butterlord is probably the only thing I'm looking forward to, but that shit is vaporware now Turkey is fucked. The devs are probably dead.

Happened to me recently. Except not as direct. My best friend from K-8 was an entirely different person last I saw him. He didn't play vidya, stopped sports entirely, and actively cosplayed with his GF. It was weird. Like getting into a car that wasn't your pickup ride home. Kinda sucks knowing that you no longer know people you knew.

Me too, I feel now that games with story are garbage and I'm more inclined to spend my time either on FIFA or Civilization

Games are just being increasingly dumbed down and DLC ridden. I'm tired of it. There's a few things coming out and I've been enjoying EDF, I'm not totally done, but its getting there. Just going shooting more so I can actually learn a skill with my time and maybe get into model making.

One even bought a new graphics card this year, a damn nice one, and hasn't played a single game on it. The other will play SJW walking sims two or three times a year and little else.

A lot of you guys feeling depressed should look into your health. As you get older your mood is much more susceptible to being fucked with. Eat right, exercise, get some sunshine, take breaks while playing, etc. You'll feel way better and will enjoy gaming again.

Another small piece of advice is to get a program like fl.ux that changes your computer screen's brightness during the day, at night if you're on the computer with full brightness you'll have a harder time going to sleep and feel less refreshed the next day.

Also get a new mattress cause odds are you're using a shitty old one. Get some comfy pillows and sheets too. Get some new shoes too if you ever actually leave your room. Also look into your dental health and get your teeth fixed if you haven't already.
