Teleport 20 faggots in one game achievement

>teleport 20 faggots in one game achievement

I know, who cares about cheevos, right? Well, some faggots do apparently. I've had teammates literally spawn teleporters at the spawn point just to cheese the achievement. These types of challenges are just straight up cancerous in my opinion.

Why are they even in the game?

>that guy who holds on to his ult to get a 4 kill streak
>uses it at the end and kills one guy
>we lose

the cheevos/trophies in this game are stupid, some are so situational, others are luck. most you wouldn't be able to get unless you had 12 people boosting them.

they shouldn't have made them so hard then this type of faggot shit wouldn't happen

Symetras cheevos aren't that hard to get.

Lucio and Reaper are the hardest, and Widowmaker if you can't problem solve.

>activision """"games"""""

I got both of Reaper's achievements within ten seconds if each other. Also
>get quadruple kill with D.Va's self destruct
>no achievement
>get quadruple kill with Junk's rip tire
>no achievement
>wipe the fucking team with Genji's dragon blade
>NO ACHIEVEMENT
Fuck Blizzard. No one will ever believe me.

>needing to cheese that achievement/trophy

Fucking why? just do your job as Symmetra and you can easily teleport that many people in a game.

3 kills with 8 bullets is rough. Any of the Ult acheivements are easy and you can get them again, especially with genji.

It is suprisingly difficult, because if you do your job you won't get nearly 20 because the game will be over.

It's solo kills too right? I don't know how I got that in the first place. As far as Genji's ult goes, does it only count if the kills are with his primary attack or something? Because I've gotten 4 dragon blade kills plenty of times, but I probably used the dash and the reflect to do it.

It would be fine, but you can't build charge for your teleporter while its up it seems super hard to get playing normally because your team would need to be getting their shit stomped to burn through teleports while also hoping you can run in as a squishy melee range character to build more ult charge.

Just play the game. If you get the achievements you get them, if you don't, you don't.

Achievements should be a little "oh hey, I did something rare" rather than sperging out because instead of healing your team you're failing at pushing people off ledges while wall riding.

I did this

While it is dumb to not use it at all it's also stupid to waste it straight away on one person, they're meant to be used to wipe out a couple at least

I got both of Reapers and I've only ever played him for like 15 minutes, it's mostly luck, although his ultimate is probably the easiest one to get in the game.

yeah I was strictly revering to the solo kill achievements those dudes have.

3 from wall riding and 3 kills in 8 rounds are ridiculous to get.

>pick Symmetra
>get teleporter
>place it facing off a cliff
>laugh as my teammates throw themselves off one by one
This shit never gets old.

I'm so glad tf2 has achievement servers.
Just another reason server browsers are your best friend that hook you up with good times on a friday night.

I've literally never seen anyone do this.

>even playing games with achievements
vote with your wallet noob

No, if you teleport close to 20 people you are already horribly losing the match.

>The Floor is Lava

>most you wouldn't be able to get unless you had 12 people boosting them
I have nearly all of them without even trying.

literally impossible if you don't ruin dozens of matches trying to get it.

Lucio should have support related achievements, not bullshit solo wall riding kills.

Shit is annoying, you literally have to work for it and focus on it.
>blow 3 people off the map
>try to jump on wall to get it
>didn't time it right and didn't unlock the spray
Meanwhile phera is blow one faggot off the map

>3 kills with 8 bullets is rough.
You can actually just tag 4 people with them, and finish them off with your ult. Got it by accident the other day and was really confused.

If it was knock offs it would be easier, it is three final blows while wall riding without dying.

I'd just play comp until I get a match where most of my team quits, and then get on mic and ask the enemy team to help me do the achievement.

You can get it with knock offs. You need to wall ride when the executions go off.

I timed it wrong, it really only works on a few maps.
I got a double and then I got another single

I'd never get an achievement like that unless my team was shit. And if my team is shit I'd probably long since switched off symmetra since if my team is dying I'm probably dying too from being alone.

I just joined a match with my fires until I got into the opposite team and am able to unlock dumb shit.
Like the sorry spray. No one who is good plays sym that long

>Fucking why? just do your job as Symmetra and you can easily teleport that many people in a game.

You need to put up at least 4 teleporters for that. If a match is going well I'm usually just putting up 2 tops. If match is going poorly I might put up 4, but I got refunded or had 1-2 destroyed

I just make a portal facing spawn and then run through it 5 times to quickly work on the next portal.

Only need to unlock it once

>Symmetra trying for the achievement by placing the teleporter at spawn
>In Ranked

It counts for your own uses too? Maybe I'll do that with friends some night

I swear some people use walls in the game. They seem to automatically know exactly where that shit is.
Not even widow maker knows where constructs are

Yeah, wall riding is ridiculous, easiest way is to push people off the edge and then wall ride as the kill registers on screen, then it's a matter of doing that three times without dying.

I've only managed two so far.

>playing symetra in ranked
That's a mistake

Most likely they just saw it in the kill cam. That's either where I call it from or hear about it.

youtube.com/watch?v=OlY7N9L7umk

well you get a spray for the achievements.
i've been going for that shit teleport one, how can i get symmetra to get her ult faster. i can barely squeeze out 3 for the whole match and typically we win too fucking fast depending on the map, i only pick symmetra on hollywood defense

Some spots are just really common that a lot of symmetras use. Personally I've learned where most of them are so that I can destroy them when I'm attacking and I place mine in odd spots or a bit further back when defending and using her. But I'm also good enough at symmetra that I don't have to drop her on a 2nd point or payload defense after losing a point on something like king's row

spam charged poo balls in choke points

It's almost instant when I set it down and I'm like 20 meters from my team.
I don't set it in the normal spots close to the action, and they still butcher it seconds afterwards.

Holy shit I just had an entire bowl of kekity puffs my sides are mashes potatoes and coleslaw

Most maps are garbage for symmetras teleporter that they're easy to find or hard to defend.

I usually just put up the teleporter and defend it to the death in an enclosed space. Usually I'm able to take on anyone that shows up. Teamates are mentally retarded so I never fight in teamfights unless I see the balance could tilt either way.

Temple of Anubus I win every time unless my team is mentally disabled. Teleporter goes up in 2 minutes or less, place teleporter in room at the very back, put all 6 turrets there and hope torbjorn is there as well making that point next to impenetrable.

Place turrets right on the attacker base, or within sight of your whole team. Guaranteed 30% gain within seconds of starting. Build additional turrets as they're taken down but within sight. Spam your particle beam, you'll get hits. I get teleporter up in under 2 minutes every time.

I like the idea of trophies but never bother because for every platinum I have I have 3 games at 1% that I hated and sold. You need to be able to delete them. Also the xbone does it better with telling you why you got it when it pops up.

So does anyone else in the mid sixties rank range have every single one of their payload games go into sudden death? I don't think I've played a game above rank 60 where we didn't go to sudden death on a payload map.

>that tank who uses his shield to carry the entire team during a payload round
>absorbs like 50k-100k damage for the team
>people in chat hate on him for not getting any kills

b-but thats mean.. are you a bully?

>game rated 12+ has children and idiots in it

what a surprise

That is fucking hilarious. I hope you really did that.

Which are the worst most bullshit Achievements?
I know Symmetras teleporter and Lucios wallride are particularly bullshit

I never could kill four people at once with dva ult. Either the enemy gets away too quickly or my teammates kill one of them before the bomb gord off

>quick play
>block 28k damage
>also have silvers in elims, damage done and objective kills
>and gold in objective time
>we win
>someone says gg bad tank

The Zenyatta one with Discord Orb.

You have to combo it with gravitron surge and make sure there is no rein.

I'm at rank 78 and 85% go into sudden death

i got it on Lijang Tower, the garden point. Just sent the mech flying towards the window on the side and it got 5 people because they were bad.

Enjoy the ban from the inevitable reports.

>set up teleporter

no one uses it

>set up teleporter
>teammates use it all up before some asshole does
>"OH GOD WHY DIDN'T SYMETTRA PUT UP THEIR TELEPORTER

>set up teleporter
>people use it even when the payload/point hasn't been touched yet
>team wipe and the teleporter has one charge left thanks to the tracer/genji main who keeps dying

Just lost 7 games in a row, 3 of which were in the last 1min-30 seconds of the game when I joined

I'm going to kill myself

welcome to blizzard matchmaking

thanks for the preorder!

>ywn have this

the only reasonable way to get it is to shove people off the map (ideally 3 at once) and wall ride before their death registers. They seriously can't expect you to actually shoot and wall ride at the same time and actually kill 3 people without getting killed yourself.

I got the soundbarrier one on Lucio but getting 3 killing blows whilst wallriding and in a single life is just basically stupid.

Actually its one of those things where if you're doing good enough to have 4 teleporters up, you'll end quickly and if you're doing bad enough to need 20 people teleported the games over as well for a different reason.

>that tank who stands at the entrance of the choke point (pic as an example) and nothing else

MOVE
FORWARD
FIVE
FEET

Wow look you stepped forward a bit, your shield is still getting shot at the same as before and people can get past the choke point into the room on the right. SHOCKER

Got that achievement, randomly got it in the middle of game.

Clearly I was demolishing them all.

Idk about anyone else but I find it best when tanking attack on Hanamura to blast straight past everyone to the point, it gets the entire enemy team panicking and away from the door and let's your team push in.

Git gud

Literally got it on my first and only full game as Reaper and I'm shit with him.

That's retarded.
What you should do is move so that your shield will cover both flanking entrances, allow your team to move into them then make a push up the middle while they move in as a pincer

>Fucking why? just do your job as Symmetra and you can easily teleport that many people in a game.
I main Symmetra. I am great with her.

The cheevo is fucking retarded.

To get it, YOU Symmetra have to be doing great, but your team has to be doing awful and needs to die to teleport.
Also the game needs to last awhile.

I only do solo though, so any good tactics would require communication beyond what there is.

It's better to just blast in and hope your team are decent enough to kill enemies that aren't attacking them.

Admittedly it works alot better with Winston.

>move five feet forward in that example pic
>you're now behind their team
Enjoy death.

Sometimes I feel like people use Rein shields as an excuse to spam around like a blind person. Knock off the most aggressive person in the doorway and then we can push in.

Do you know how long 5 feet is

I finally got the achievement after many hours of playing when I didn't even try

I looked at my tab and noticed holy fuck I'm at 18.

I threw down a teleporter as fast as I could and forced the last two

We won but god damn I was so happy

The hardest achieve for me is widow maker

I can't snipe in this game
Also I get confused at the wording.

Is it head shotting people while they're airborne or you're airborne.

Assuming there aren't people camping in the room on the right (which you can force people out of), all the Reinhardt needs to do is step forward enough to let the team get in that room.

Do you magically play games of Hanamura where the defending team doesn't have 3 people within 5 feet of that pictured Reinhardt? Even ignoring any possible disagreements over what 5 feet is in that image, until you get 1-2 kills, that Reinhardt is not standing in a way where he can shield passage to the flanks without also being in a spot where he will die within two seconds.

So people who aren't good at shooters or multiplayer games can feel like they achieved something. Like how CoD has levelups, battlefield has unlocks, dota has challenges, and counter strike has skins.

I do thanks to my penis :^)

(You)

It's an easy achievement. You get it if you play Symmetra on attack. On defence nobody uses tp and enemies try to destroy it all the time. I got this when we were attacking on Anubis. There's a dedicated room for TP near the chokepoint for point B and usually your team gets killed very fast, while the enemy don't go out much, so it's perfect for it.

The Floor Is Lava is pretty much impossible on PS4 since you need to hold X to wallride which means you can't rotate your camera.

I did it in quickplay without cheesing.

Please refrain from posting that gif outside of monster hunter threads

>There's a dedicated room for TP near the chokepoint for point B
Where?

I'm on Xbox, I remapped everything

jump to LT
Amp it up to LB
Switch sings to A
Sonic blast to RB

Claw grip

>playing attack Symmetra
>to save your team 30 collective seconds of walking
Your team wouldn't need so many tries to move in and cap if you weren't wasting a slot.

LITERALLY FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE

Left of the entrance to point B, see the big + on this map. It's very easy to defend your tp too.

>Play rein
>toss flame slash moving up to choke
>hit 1-2 people
>toss shield up
>start advancing
>whole team is at the choke point
>keep advancing, angle to block all shots
>whole team has not moved an inch, nor killed anybody, not even the two I already hit for 100 damage
>keep advancing
>shield breaks
>go down swinging, take out 1-2
>get back to choke
>whole team still hiding behind walls maybe taking pot shots

I just don't get it. I can tell them to follow, tell them I'll go suicide distract and that they should pick them off from behind or block a path to an empty side hall and tell them to head in there and they never will. I can get to a point and stay alive for a whole fucking minute with 5 of the enemy team trying to kill me and not a single goddamn soul from my team will move beyond the choke or even try to kill all the fuckers crawling around me like ants

That's a good idea. Thanks user.

That room is SHIT. People go in there all the time. Shit, you can WALK IN THERE from the defender spawn.

Terrible place.

>I main Symmetra. I am great with her.

It's nearly impossible to be BAD at Symettra, you spend most of the game shitting out sentries and spamming your M2 orbs.

Her gun is auto-aim and you keep reapplying shields.

She is a pretty shit hero in higher brackets because people actively find and destroy your teleporters and maps aren't really diverse enough to be able to hide them for that long. Her sentries aren't a problem to people above a 50 IQ level.

Even then you only run her on the first point of defense maps.

This.
Unless you fight a whole team of Symmetra.

I was on a whole team of Symmetra once, but that was it.

What? Did I troll or something?

>Even then you only run her on the first point of defense maps.
I can do point B on many maps and win for our game.

He means here. If the enemy is walking into that room you're getting fucking stomped. Symmetra is still a bit of a waste, though. That's really not that far from spawn. Just wait, group, and coordinate a push.
