Well, I'm quite trash myself, but sure.

First, I'd recommend you watch some Fox play from say, Armada, against Marths and see what he does to counter it. Just don't watch him versus PP at Apex.

From my experiences, dash away and laser is viable, at least at our level. Marth has to rush you down, and that's a free opening for some shine shit.

Also, don't be so obvious when trying to escape Marth up close. If you wave dash back trying to avoid the grab, he'll predict you doing it again, and Marth can really get good stuff off punishes. Mix it up a bit.

Assuming you're very low level. I'll keep it simple (not condescending here) as the advanced game is hard to explain to newish players.

1: Don't play on FD if you're unsure of yourself, or unless the marth is a beginner and heard they can meme you on a flat stage. You will get grabbed and combo'd like a ragdoll. If they know their flowcharts, and you cant DI correctly you'll most likely get kinda fucked up.
2: Dont get suckered in by the dash dance game, dash dance back grab is their bread and butter basic starter. You gotta remember despite his superior range you got the speed advantage. Use your lasers.
3: crouch cancel under 40% is your friend, it will allow you to punish dtilts
4: up throw uair/bair is your best friends.
5: dont auto pilot, remain cognizant of your positioning, marth has range advantage at all times

Side Notes:
marth is a bitch in the air and has trouble coming down, this is why uthrow uair is a really large threat.

His grab is actually one of his most punishable moves, avoid the range and punish his boipussi when he whiffs

t.midhigh level Peach/Sheik. If you dont know the MU as those 2 chars you'll get raped.

To add to what I said...

Technically with DAC'd grabs and his speed translating into his nairs/drills etc Fox has a higher range in some cases, but Marth's dash dance is so long that he can dash around most of what you throw at them. It probably doesnt apply to that person's level of skill or whom they're playing but its something to keep in mind.
