Palm grip master race

Go between palm grip and fingertip.

>Not using Rising Jade Tiger Grip
ho ho

Fingertip, cus I dont have the baby hands for palm grip and I dont want my sweaty paws ruining the mouse.

this

who the fuck uses a palm grip? people who are shit at games?

claw grip is unironically the best

...

I use the Claw Grip, but that's only because it's the optimal grip for my mouse.

Fingertip grip superior. It allows for the most efficient movement of the mouse.

>claw grip users

I fingertip when I'm lazy with the mouse, and I don't recommend it. Grip the mouse with thumb and ring finger, and make sure fingers aren't moving. Anything else is asking for RSI during prolonged, high-APM periods.

Also, your palm shouldn't rest on the mouse. The mouse should be first and foremost an extension of your wrist.

What does it say about me if I use a big fat mouse and palm it most of the time, but pull out a small sleek mouse for fingertipping in shooters?

>there are only 3(three) ways to hold a mouse
simply reppic post, original poster

Is there a version of this for trackpads?

>pull out a small sleek mouse for fingertipping in shooters
First of all, if you don't use low sens for shooters, you're a casual scrub. And if you use low sens and fingertip, you don't play much or your hand would be hurting like a mother fucker.

What if I'm not a 15 year old playing CSGO 14 hours a day like you?

Then, you simply haven't played a shooter long enough to figure the basic, gateway things out that allow you to improve.

Index and middle finger on the buttons, all other fingers resting on side of mouse

Why are you trying so hard to insult me son?
I don't really need lectures from some gambling child, I played UT and CS1.6, if you are ruining your hand in 2016 to be good at a game today - you are retarded.

Are you baiting? You are the one ruining your hand by fingertipping a tiny mouse. Mouse should be an extension of your wrist, not something to exercise all your fingers.

i hold it like this

You don't really make any sense user.

Nobody said tiny.
Compare the naos7000 to the ec-2a.
You ruin your hand by playing 14 hours a day, not by how you hold it.

Sure you may ruin it more with a weird hold - but again, only if you are a child playing ridiculously excessive hours.

Or a pro, but then you are paid to ruin your hands.

>Precise grip? What? Why would some space between your hand the mous-
>Oh my fucking God where has this been all my life

I'm forced to use this because of my freakishly large hands.

>only if you are a child playing ridiculously excessive hours.
There's still no benefit to fingertipping in a shooter and contributing to RSI only in shorter boorsts. Why get used to bad habits and realize later in life that you can't play shooters at all because you've been using a harmful grip? You are the one who's not making any sense.

Stop being lazy and change your grip, fag.

So what grip is exactly the holy grail you are talking about?

Its going to be palm?
Really?

I'm sorry can you post your gayming creds?

How does one use the mousewheel with the palm grip?
Having employed the fingertip grip my entire life, I just tried the palm grip and it's quite comfortable, but I can't use the scroll wheel.

Ill buy this piece for 2 million dollars

palm grip is for fucking neanderthals

Use the mouse as an extension of your wrist. Don't bend the fingers to move it. That's all there's to it.

Thanks for the tennis elbow son.

im sorta in between claw and palm
hope thats ok

>using a mouse
>2016

You use your middle finger, sliding it up and down the wheel.

I have tiny manlet hands. Palm grip is my only option.

I go somewhere between claw and fingertip depending on how I'm holding my mouse at the moment, but I almost never full on palm. My mouse is built for fingertip grip, it is amazing.

You're hilarious if you believe moving the mouse is comparable to tennis swings. Playing shooters means one thing—low sens, and with low sens you put tremendous strain on your tendons if you fingergrip. Your hand would be in pain after mere hours let alone a long session.

>not holding the mouse upside-down and sliding your thumb over the laser for enhanced tactical precision

you people are dumb

Fixed because I'm a retard

More or less a claw grip with more relaxed fingers like fingertip grip.

>tfw I twitch click rmb sometimes
what disorder do I have

rmb?

richard matthew ballmer

Claw is so uncomfortable, holy shit
Fingertip looks like you'd get accidental left clicks all the time

right mouse button, or m2. Generally lmb and rmb/m1 and m2 refer to the two primary buttons on a mouse.

jesus Christ I tried this for a second and immediately got carpal tunnel

You are hilarious that you HAVE an understanding of the strain and low-sens gameplay just said to literally aim with your elbow instead of your hand, and cannot connect the dots leading to tennis elbow.

ITS NOT THE RANGE OF MOVEMENT
ITS THE REPETITION

Do you understand now?
You hand can easily take the strain of playing low sens both with elbow and hand - JUST NOT REPEATEDLY 10 HOURS EVERY DAY FOR YEARS.

If you do finger tip and go excessive - your hand will hurt, if you use your elbow, it'll be a tennis elbow because constant big movements (180+ constant) with your elbow for hours and hours and years causes what we call tennis elbow.

Not because only tennis movements cause it, but because tennis players practice for hours and hours and hours and years just like gaymers do.

redditism

Is that a biohazard czech mouse?

>hover over webm
>right click it while watching

Every time, I have no idea why.

Looks like a Shitadder

Yeah just noticed it didn't have the 2xLMB button
1/10 don't talk to me or my PC ever again

Reddragon Centrophorus.

I've never been into the whole "PC gaming" thing in the past, so when I needed to pick up a new mouse I heard some other user recommend this one and figured I'd try it out. It's pretty cheap, but the reviews on it are all very high and it's been doing its job pretty damn well so far. Could have done a lot worse for a first gaming mouse, even if it doesn't last too long at least I didn't sink 50+ bucks into it and get something I didn't like.

Thanks for the laugh, but I think that's gonna be it for me when it comes to interacting with morons. Anyone with a brain knows this already, so I'm not gonna waste my breath anymore. Do whatever, fucktard.

How bad is not having a mousepad?

I haven't used one in so many years but I do well in the games I play.

There is only one acceptable choice when buying a gaming mouse, and that is the MX518

I'll take that as a "Yes, now I understand".

Which has been out of production for years so you want a G400.

are you retarded? it looks absolutely nothing like that

You could do better. Are you content to stagnate or do you want to break past the artificial shackles you have placed upon yourself?

It's just a stable material for a mouse. I used to use a cardboard box.

We have the same mouse mat.
That is amazing to me.

>not a G400

Excise yourself famalam

It depends a lot of your desk. On my old one, I didn't use a mousepad because it was super smooth, but I had to clean it pretty much weekly, or it would start to get really dirty and rough.

>mfw MX518 left click started giving out after 9 years of heavy use both for gaming and later for work

You will be missed buddy, sorely.

Had a g400 too, died in less than 2 years, everything logitech today is utter shit.

Why? The QcK is a popular brand.

I tend to notice, I do this when video i'm watching is boring or takes too long, it's like brain tries to tell me to stop.
So instead of irritating it'self by pausing with left click, it makes middle finger twitch and click rmb.
Maybe that's just me though...

>rat 5

This thing looks like an aborted alien spaceship

What the fuck

The most beautiful part about using fingertip grip isn't the precision, but the fact that you don't ever have to adjust to different mouse sizes.

Damn dude, you both have the same extremely popular and common QcK!

>Had a g400 too, died in less than 2 years, everything logitech today is utter shit.

It's because of the current gaming market. E-Celebs endorse shit mice, people buy them to be like the E-Celebs. Companies don't have to worry about build quality because the E-Celebs move on to new mice within 1-2 years anyway.

How the fuck is palm grip master race? Fingertip is obviously superior. If you need to make small intricate movements then only using your finger tips to move would be easier than moving your whole hand.

Yeah, I have the same one too.
I don't like it, irritates my wrist and chafes it.
Good for the mouse though.

>If you need to make small intricate movements

I wouldn't have put myself in a position that requires those in the first place.

Oh nothing like that.
Logitech made amazing stuff for cheap up to around 2008.
The MX518 was half the price of the average 5-buttoned adjustable dpi gaming mouse (brand name) and was a stellar fucking thing, nigh indestructible with only slight angle snapping as its downside.

They made good products - made a good name for themselves - and as gaming gone mainstream adapted the Razer model.

Quality down from 200% to 30%, marketing up from 50% to 9000%.
Sell cheap shit at an extremely high price - because "everyone knows Logitech makes good quality mouse, not that razer shit".

Fuck, I do EXACTLY THE SAME THING. I just realised today too. feels good knowing I'm not the only one.

>not using knuckle grip

Fingertip isn't really a grip and that's the whole issue. You just rest the tips on the mouse and there's too much strain on the fingers during intensive movement. It's only good for lazy browsing really. The lower back of your hand should be touching the mousing and it should be in an actual grip while you control the mouse with your wrist.

What in the unholy fuck is knuckle grip. Are you a Gorilla? Why are you shitposting on Sup Forums Winston?

Autism
I was being sarcastic you nincompoops.
You really thought I thought it was fucking AMAZING that he shares the same mouse mat?

Get your shits together.

Sarcasm works when there is something to be sarcastic about. Your post implied you were unironically happy that you had the same mouse.

Your autism is making my head hurt.
You have too much time on your hands my man.

I use the freestyle grip because my mouse is radical as fuck.

>347605797
I may be autistic, but you're still the one who decided to reply instead of just moving on.

Maybe its something like that, yeah.
But usually I get annoyed at myself after it happens a few times and start clicking shit instead.

>You just rest the tips on the mouse and there's too much strain on the fingers during intensive movement
what kind of feeble ass fingers do you have? Or does your mouse weight several pounds or something?

Why does Trust make the most fugly AND functional mice?

I'm palm grip, although my mouse is small so I only rest part of my palm on it.

>my fingers are STRONG unlike yours!
enjoy your RSI in a few years, retard

If you care about that, you're also one of the people who buy Gamerfood.

Fingertip grip puts less strain on the wrist than the palm grip, idiot

I'd say the quality is give or take- I've heard of mice being shitty from the start (and a number of them have inherent flaws, like the G5/500 that ALWAYS developed that fucking jitter), but on the other hand I've been using the same G400 for five years now and it still works perfect.

You are lucky then.
I gave them their tries, 2 g400 died on me, and whatever their latest supreme piece of shit was with the big metal scroll - well that was the biggest joke of a mouse I've ever seen in my life.

It all came together when I sold that thing - a 16~ year old kid bought it and as I tried my man-sized hands on it, and then watched him try his teen sized hand on it, it was extremely clear who the fuck it was made for.

It puts strain on your damn tendons, you dumb mongoloid. They are much more sensitive to injury than your wrist.

kek
why would anyone think this was a good idea?

Because it is.
The way you hold a regular mouse twists your forearm into an unnatural positon.

Still looks silly though.

>cord is backwards

natrually just alternate between palm and claw depending on what im doing

>cyborg rat in good tier
>kinzu above zowie
avert your eyes
