Video games have become a bigger entertainment medium than film and music. Whatever the next trend is, survival, open world etc there will be a lineup of devs cashing in on it with minimal effort. "Don't buy it" is no longer viable as a way to make a difference in the industry because it's so infested with the general public (retards), that it will continuously decline.
