How you holding up bros? What games can you run well and what games run like shit? Planning to upgrade soon or happy with your performance?
Who /750 Ti/ here?
not 750ti, but almost as bad: GTX 560ti 1GB.
Still doing fine. Playing my games at 1920x1200.
MGS5 ran smooth as butter with everything High. Talos Principle defaulted to Ultra-High-High combo, which I tweaked a bit to fit my tastes (full 3D resolution instead of 900p+AA), and it ran steady 50+ at all places.
I've been eying on the GTX 1060. It would fit my needs and be quite a huge upgrade for me, going up 4 whole generations at once. But I'll see about that sometime closer to Xmas / next year.
760 here
not ever gonna try the AAA releases of this year, since I know they won't do over 30fps on the lowest settings
not gonna upgrade for years tho, my backlog is that huge
/1080/ here.
You guys suck.
i'm still doing fine with my 750 non-Ti...
i can still run pretty much anything at a good framerate prvided i don't go crazy with the other settings.
now that radeon 4xx and nvidia 10xx are out the gtx 970 is getting rather cheap, so i might get one someday
what kind of otherworldy uber-race games are you even talking about? I admit that the recent game I've actively played have been MGS5 and KF2, but those at least have run smoothly on my 5 years old 560ti + i5 2500 combo.
the GTX 1060 is faster than both GTX 980 and HD 480, uses notably less power, and costs mere 250 bucks. It'd be silly to go with the 3.5GB anymore.
I checked the benchmarks for Tomb Raider, Quantum Break and Doom. It's miserable how Nvidia killed off Kepler. Had I bought a 280x I could still be playing those games.
Same here my nigger, i wanna upgrade bad but neetbucks don't come until next month.
where i live the 1060 is about 20% more expensive than a 970 and from what i can tell is about 20% better in the benchmarks...
so yeah i guess i'll get one or the other
>I checked the benchmarks for Tomb Raider, Quantum Break and Doom.
Benchmarks ran at 1080p + Ultra settings as MINIMUM? Yeah, stop reading those.
Just do not get the Founders Edition of 1060. That's easily going to be the worst version, and costs 50 bucks more compared to the 3rd party versions that are going to hit the market soon.
I'll be getting a 750Ti next month for my first graphics card. I can't wait.
I just beat rise of the tomb raider on a 760. Got 30-50 fps depending on places. Mix of high and medium settings. The card still has life.
>gtx 670
Oh, that's good to hear.
>tfw 550ti
You been a good card all these years but you are showing your age really bad
What should I get you guys?
also hopefully some richfags might get rid of their 970 for a new 1070-1080, so i hope i can grab a used 970
I've been living off a geforce gt 730 for 2 years. Get on my level.
I got rid of my 980 for $250 when I got the 1080
I got this about a month ago cause my HP Elitedesk of course couldn't run a damn thing and I wanted something simple to run games like Rocket League, Xenoverse etc. The card works pretty well but damn was installing it into my small ass computer a hassle.
GTX 1060.
Some non-Founders Edition version.
>gtx560 not even ti
Good thing I mostly play league of faggots.
I'm fine with my 750ti.
I was surprised rainbow six siege run on medium 900p 60fps.
It's doing mostly okay with the games I play, but I was not able to even reach consistent 30fps in Dark Souls 3, so I haven't finished it yet (beat Voldt before deciding the framerate was making it too unenjoyable).
That's the only one that hurt.
I've got an HD7950 3GB and I can play almost anything other than Witcher 3 at constant 60fps 1080p.
Stil runs New Releases on Medium-high for me
only thing that struggled recently being Dark souls 3, but I didn't mind much. Been thinking of Getting a 980ti in about 6 months, maybe the Ati equivalent.
DaS3 was optimized like shit
So I had to find a graphics card that was pretty good but small enough to fit into this, I figured I'd ask my friend who built his computer and he suggested the one OP posted, So I bought it.
gtx 770 here almost fell for the 1070 meme but then I remembered there's literally no games I want to play
I don't think it even fits in your case
So I get the graphics card and this happens, it BARELY fits and doesn't fit into the slot because of the silver bar right behind it and the part that you use to fasten the graphics card to your case to keep it still.
760 here getting the rx 490
amd cards age well better from what i see
should have gotten the 280 instead
those arent simple games in the least
750ti here
The latest game release I have is the new Hitman game and it runs at about 40 on medium settings
I want to get a new graphics card but I honestly can't be asked to spend anymore
It sure as hell didn't but I wasn't going to give up just because it barely fit.
So I used pliers to clamp down the bar behind the card to give it extra space and got rid of the clip on the card and it fit just fine but the problem was it was still too big and I couldn't close my case
770
Really? I thought the would run smoothly with a modest graphics card but honestly I don't know much about cards.
So for a while this was my set up, until I got myself an entirely new case.
7850 here
probably not going to upgrade unless this 4 year old cards decides to break for some reason. It handles all recent games (witcher 3 etc) well enough and there's nothing in the horizon I'd want to upgrade for except Cyberpunk 2077.
Nah, I'm saving up for an Asus gtx 970 strix
Rocking a Radeon HD 7770, can still play some things fine.
A 750Ti would be a very welcome upgrade.
So I bought myself a VIVO case and was tasked with moving everything from my Elite desk to this new case even though I had no idea what I was doing and somehow I did it, though nothing fit properly cause everything was made to fit the old case.
>Thinking of upgrading GPU
>Realize there is precisely 0 game I'm looking forward to
I have two GT650m's in SLI
honestly all the games I want to run, run. I dont see a need to upgrade for 2 more years t.b.h
Not even the power supply. Ironically the only thing that fit properly was the new card.
I somehow got it all working and running smoothly so now I can play games without worrying about my computer exploding.
Wait for Pascal GP107, GTX 1050 or GT 1040
Can I have sauce?
Also, I fell for the budget gaming pc meme and paired the 750ti with an athlon 860 k, so if I want to upgrade my pc, I have to buy both a new motherboard and a new cpu, since I already have a high end cpu for my socket and a better card would get bottlenecked by it.
wait for volta
Literally the exact same boat, he 960's are really cheap right now fyi
That sucks, I almost fell for that meme too. Goes to show how little advice you can take from random strangers.
EVGA ftw fag here. How does it differ from its smaller brothers like pic related?
Ran most modern games 1080/40-60 fps at med settings. I still don't know how it is holding up on FO4 since I'm not at home for the past year.
Any similar cards on the market now with the good price to power ratio? Thinking of upgrading it since its almost 3 years now and thinking of hooking up my pc on a 4k tv.
Should i buy a gtx 1070?
My computer has a Radeon HD 6770
I want to upgrade for a RX 470 or a RX 460 but I'll probably wait for next gen's budget card to upgrade.
Black people.
pic
Same one here. Held up pretty well all these years.
>be a poorfag
>intel 2 quadcore
>8gb of ram
>Radeon HD 6570 2gb
>still gonna last 5~7 years with this machine
I don't care,if it's above 25fps,fine by me
I'm happy with my 390 for now. Has a pretty decent core OC of +130mhz.
I have a buddy who wants me to build him a PC, is the 980ti or the 1070 better if both are around the same price?
>650 Ti
>I can't run stuff on low settings anymore
Thinking about upgrading to RX480.
>GTX 460 or something
>doesn't even have a standard HDMI port
>just bought a 960
>package expected today
