I am thinking about getting this one. IGN review seems okay. What are your thoughts?
I like games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Devil May Cry and shit like that.

think of assassin's creed III only at least 2x as more boring, but slightly more technically impressive
lots of repetition, boredom, long and unskippeable animations to complete resource gathering actions, a lame unlock system and a bunch of other shit that generally pissed me off until I uninstalled it
Fair enough. How about MGS Phantom Pain?
I heard by the time you fully upgrade your car there's literally nothing to be done in the game. This true?
Take Batmans combat, Far Cry resource gathering and Assassin Creed world building and that's Mad Max
It's decent
Don't pay full price and sure. I liked the vehicular combat
Ya, because the whole point of the game is to upgrade your car. It takes a pretty damn long time to do that.
pretty fun,
That shit kind of irks me.
good game
though it also has repetition, which comes with open-world games, but rarely felt truly bored - particularly due to its varied story missions
the 2nd act was a letdown, but there were some strong sequences to make up for it
Only get it if you can spend
Say I could this one, Arkham Knight or Phantom Pain. Which one is the best?
I think its worth getting on sale if you like the aesthetic of mad max
I love the avalanche engine of just cause mad max uses and want to see more games made in it.
It's one of those games where you go around a huge map collecting stuff, capturing enemy camp things. It's ok. i got it because i liked the movie, and i just try not to think about how similar it is to other open world games i've already played and i enjoy it.
too freakin repetetive i can recommend if you get it super cheap less than 20 dollars just for the setting and driving stuff. Great video game version of mad max world and the collectible post cards were pretty interesting to find.
Its a pretty game, and ripping around the desert kicking up sand once you finally throw a big ol v8 in your car is really fun, especially when you're thunderpooning baddies at the same time.
Otherwise not very fun. Buy it cheap but just for the driving.
Great setting, and driving around in it is actually fun. Car combat feels great as well.
It's true that it gets repetitive, but if you're getting it for less than 30, it's a great deal. Well optimized on PC too.
It also has a neat little photo mode.
It is actually $30 on Amazon right now, though Arkham Knight and Phantom Pain are cheaper
I'd get PP. You can get more hours and enjoyment out of it.
after the third area of the game i was dying of boredom from doing the same suit over and over again
Then it really comes down to whatever setting you like best.
Driving in the wasteland, beating people up as batman, or the wacky adventures with snake & crew.
I own all three myself, and they're all great games.
And since I don't get many chances to post pictures...
...
I got mad max for 20 dollaroos and I still feel ripped off. The maximum amount of money I'd give for it would be around $10.
...
...
OP, don't be fooled by the photography mode
it's a shallow, boring game and no built-in photo mode with instagram filters is going to change that
it's actually fun when you get into it desu
>instagram filters
Rude.
