What kind of retard plays video games for the story? What kind of retard plays Final Fantasy in particular for the story when the only good thing about most FF game's writing is a handful of character moments and silly sequences with little bearing on the overall plot? FF V is a fun, lighthearted adventure that isn't pretending to be some 2deep4u garbage like modern Final Fantasy games and the writing (at least in the Advance localization) conveys that Saturday morning cartoon feel perfectly. V's writing is perfect for what it sets out to do and most importantly, the story comes second to gameplay which is what actually matters in a video game.

Is there a GBA emulator on the Vita? Because if you're thinking of playing the Playstation version, don't. The translation is atrocious.

This irks me. What is boring about it? Final Fantasy is one of the greatest franchises in gaming and iconically pushed all innovations in the jrpg genre. It is the quintessential epic of video games.

Repetitive skin deep turn based mechanics in comparison to other similar jrpg's that gets boring and tedious shortly after you figure out how to not be garbage, borderline no difficulty aside from a few parts in 2 and 6.

Final Fantasy is just an easy series, and given the length of some of the titles it gets extremely boring and tedious, at least tactics could make playing interesting or at least have some bit of depth, it's a shame they didn't really go after that formula as much because it was miles better than the regular turn based system.
