Reminder that if you use walkthroughs, you may as well just be watching movies instead of playing games.

I don't have time to be fucking about on annoying puzzles for hours, I have a job and a life.

I'll use a walkthrough if I don't figure it out in 10 minutes.

>Play 90% of game blind.
>Gotta look up guide for that one spot where you have to recite the kabbalah and fart into your mic to progress.
>Y-you're watching a movie now.

No

>he doesn't know how to think about other things on the job

You see, user, even though the game may not be in your hands, you can still think about possible solutions to try out when you return home.

>he looks at the Dark Souls wiki on his first playthrough

Walkthroughs are necessary for two things:
1. Find a fast solution
2. Find hidden secrets

If you aren't a kid and have better things to do, a walkthrough is a must

> implying i'm in any position to think about anything other than having a cold beer and a shower when I finish work.

Underage spotted.

Sorry for having faith in your intellect. Have fun watching movies.

Pathetic.

Try to stop me faggot

If you use a walkthrough, the secrets aren't really hidden, are they?

And not everything is about speed, yo

Only use a walkthrough when I stay away from a game for too long and don't remember whats going on.

>Not languishing in one spot in a game for decades

maybe you should stick to candy crush, so you can just buy your way to winning or whatever.

Intellect has nothing to do with it. I figured out Dwarf Fortress without even looking at a guide. It's the inane contextual puzzles that only activate after you spend an hour playing fucking pixel hunter that I hate.

Not every puzzle is satisfying, don't generalize like a faggot.

When that happens I drop it.

> It's the inane contextual puzzles that only activate after you spend an hour playing fucking pixel hunter that I hate.

stop playing shit games then

ikr, i've already watched all of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on youtube

>literally haha nolife nerds
Yeah go work, normie, leave the board.

You're telling me. I used a walkthrough to clock the first Zelda, didn't feel satisfying at all.

How can I when shit games make up 90% of the industry library?

find me one person who beat La-Mulana without a guide

I actually came so close to finally beating it last year. Then my save file corrupted. I only had one dungeon left to locate.

> implying normie.

I LARP, thank you very much.

Wouldn't go that far but I'll say that walkthroughs are just as much of a casual crutch as easymodo for most games. Nothing wrong with using them to clarify unexplained game mechanics though

Onimusha 1 with your issen bullshit I'm looking at you, had me thinking it was just random critical hits until I accidentally cleared a room with it

easy, play the remaining 10% faggot

And I do. While enjoying cold beer and spiced meat.

I eat underage summerfags like you for breakfast.

>How can I when shit games make up 90% of the industry library?

>easy, play the remaining 10% faggot

>And I do.

Are you retarded? Also:

>Hurr, durr, I drink beer and eat meat.

You seem displeased at my dietary preferences. How intolerant of you.

Infact you seem intolerant of just about anything that doesn't match up to this peculiar worldview of yours. You stupid cunt.

I'm just intolerant of idiots.

Nice opinion, bro.

I remember playing Digimon World 3 and thinking how exactly was that fucking game possible without a guide.
Although, to be honest I was pretty shit at vidya then and used to skip most text and cutscenes since I didn't know English that well.
Still, remember that fucking desert you had to cross in a specific order to get to the tower? Was there anything in the game that indicated how you were supposed to do it?

Oh and btw NNB is one of the best animus, ren-chon is my daughteru

Depends on the game, if the challenge isn't entirely about figuring out what to do (puzzles, navigation etc) then you're not completely ruining it for yourself

God that sounds depressing.

Incredibly.

>"You can't use any walkthroughs if you want to 100% this RPG!
>"If you use a walkthrough, you may as well be watching a Lets Play!"
